  1. Hi AdamB, Yes, my second procedure is for my crown area and additional density in the already transplanted area. And i also made my left hair line a little bit down on the temples side. I got 2700+ grafts this time. I hope it looks good once it grows. RK
  2. Hi AdamB, Congratulations. I think i met you when you were in the surgical chair. Dr.Feller introduced me to you in the lunch time. My second procedure was done with Dr.Feller yesterday. I will post some pics, once i receive it from the Dr.Feller. Good Luck and grow well... -- RK
  3. Thank you everybody for such a nice comments. Those comments really a lot to me. You guys are awesome and I learned many things from your comments in this forum which took me to this successful first HT. Dewayne, Many people asked me about my hair. What did you do to your hair? how come it is growing back?..etc like that. Especially many people at my work place. Most of my team mates know about my transplant. Everybody is saying like i am growing good. For other people i simply skip discussion by saying i am under medication.
  4. Hi All, I am 5months post-op now. Last week i visited Dr.Feller for a general checkup on my progress. Everything looks good according to him. And he commented me as a fast grower. I am attaching my previous and current pictures for comparison. I have added my consultation pictures to my blog. I would appreciate your valuable comments.
  5. Hello Friends, I am in hardest waiting phase. I am 4.5 months post-op now. I am really happy so far with my results. Things are going as expected. I have updated my blog with my 3, 4 and 4.5 months results. I am attaching one comparison picture here. Please provide me your valuable comments. Other than this, i am noticing some heavy hair fall from my donor area since last week (on my pillow). I recently changed my shampoo to Natures Gate Biotin shampoo (I used aloevera shampoo before). I applied some hair dye (Just for Men) last week. Do you see any relation with these things to my hair loss. Does anyone experienced hair loss after 4months of surgery? Another question i have is, How long do i need to wait for 2nd HT? If everything goes good, can i schedule my next HT after 8 Months of my 1 Ht? Thanks in Advance, RK Other than this

  8. Hello All, It has been more than two months from my HT. Everything is going good as expected. I could see some new hair popping up from transplanted grafts and some grafts which never shed are getting some thickness. I have added my one month and two months pictures to my blog. Please provide me your valuable comments.

  10. Dewayne and Bill - Thanks for such nice comments. AgentHarley, I visited Dr.Feller on my 10th day for a general checkup about my healing and other stuff. They removed my staples at that time. When i asked Doc about the hair counts, he replied me in percentages and he commented that unusually i got more number of 2's and those are 70%.(I guess as a usual average these will be 50%, but i got more). At the end of surgey, few 1's are still left and they were placed near crown area (I was planned for 2800 grafts, that turned to 3200 by the end of surgery). Based on these factors i have given the breakdown in percentages. i do not know exact break down. I will ask Dr.Feller to provide me that information, then i will post them for you. My questions are: It seems like i got very few 3's and 4's from my surgery. Is it for good or bad or unusual? Does this effect my HT outcome in any ways? What are all the possible things can happen as an end result by having less number of Multi FUs? Experts answers please......

  15. I am 10 days post-op by today. I visited Dr.FELLER today for my staple removal and a general checkup. Everything looks great till now. The only discomfort i felt in all the process is sleeping first few nights and itching after 1 week around my donor and transplanted area. Dr.Feller is also very happy with my healing process. I will create a blog with the pictures today. Here are some pictures of my transplanted area. I do not have the pictures of donor area now. I will try to upload them later.
  16. Anouar, I do not exactly know what are the densities at different zones. But over all it is 40 to 50 FUs per sq.cm. I may be wrong. Dr. Feller can answer than perfectly. Rambler, I requested Dr.Feller to distribute my grafts all over my top. Because of that he may choose that way or He said my original hair line was there before, so he might have choosen to go along with that. Nj, My donor area is very dense but less laxity. so that he could able to get only 3200 grafts out of it. i may get the same amout for my next HT also.
  17. We have not yet planned for second HT. But sure i will be going for my 2nd in Feb or Mar of 2009
  18. Thank you Dr.Feller. These pictures are so clear and i will keep them for my reference also.
  19. Thanks for that Dewayne. I have some native thick hair in the front as a small circle. But do not have anything left for the remaining area. See the attached pre-op picture. You will get some idea. Anyhow, do you think this desity would give me an average look (I mean can i hide my scalp with out showing out with a good hair style)
