Good Point! I was a diffuse thinner on top but only from the middle on top to the front. I had some temple work done on the sides and point and a density pack on top. So my degree of loss was enough to definately want and need a HT but I dont think enough to where I needed 2k plus to cover (although the more the better 1,574 Follicular units (FUT) 114 - 3 hair grafts 881 - 2 hair grafts 579 - 1 hair grafts Total Hairs transplanted: 2,683 I actually just had my procedure done last Friday. Thus far I am 150% satisfied. The pain swelling redness everything is so minimal. I would recommend him to anyone (so far). But how do those stats sound of my HT for me to start setting a future image of myself?

In a 1500 graft transfer procedure to front top center and forward. Whats your guys out take on what numbers it would take to create some good density. 400-1's 800-2's 300-3's is what Im asking. I know no one is a doctor but whats your idea?

I was in the same boat as you but decided to go about this 21. Unfortunately I found the wrong person to take care of me (as alot of coalition doctors will try and persuade you in any way not to do so at such a young age) which was Bosley. Which I would highly recommend to stay away from especially after my experience recently with Dr. True. 10$ a graft opposed to 4-6 WOW. Anyways start on Propecia for one! How I felt at your stage it "constantly" bothered me, I felt NO other solution but that so thats what I did. In the end its all about what you want in my eyes. -Depending on your MPB will determine if you will need another (if you choose so) transplant later in life. A coalition doc will be able to accurately determine your position in a few years to come so I suggest getting in for a consultation ASAP if this is really a social life crippling concern of yours

sydneyguy, My second procedure was a density procedure of 800 grafts to frontal hairline and just behind Most loss was existing but mostly probable to fall out. Possibly not though because shortly after I started on finasteride, anyways it also seemed of a few transplanted hairs, very noticeable too because hairline is mostly 1's. I think what caused the shockloss was his lack of caring about that fact and just jamming the knife rapidly punching away almost to just get it over with as fast as possible. So the shock I can say to the surrounding hairs was immense. As i've read being on finasteride for a year or more is a great way to reduce shockless as the finasteride builds strength in the follicle to stand strong. Minoxidil doesnt hurt either but that gives me headaches : / Only thing different is Ive been on Finasteride since September and using Nizoral for about a month now. Wish I could of started earlier but I hope it helps! Unfortunately I dont have any pix of my previous procedures and I didnt recieve must shockloss at all first time around because it was mainly recreating a hairline and was away from the bulk of my hair Hope this helps, any questions feel free to pm and thankyou for the back up ;p Hopefully I can smile real big in 5months haha

Ive chosen Dr. True as my doctor for a 1400 graft procedure. Im actually going under the knife this Friday and was coming on here to hopefully gain some encouragement, advice (you can never know enough) and to just speak out a bit. Especially because "no one" knows about this, Ive kept all my transplants top secret the "best" I could and seemed to come away with it pretty well. Except now because I have a hairline transplant my first time, density my second which stricly created mass shockloss and am now diffuse thinning behind my hairline which doesnt look to good or natural on the eye so hopefully Dr. True and his staff will bring me back to confidence level (in hopefully 6 or so months hehe) Anyone care to throw some feedback my way ?

would the continued use of the finasteride hold up anything the foam may of grown back is my question ; p

If Im using 1mg of finasteride every night. Rogaine foam once a night on my crown area. If say some hair was to regrow due to the combined use and I stopped using the foam. Would the fin hold up anything that it maybe helped grow back???? Thanks guys

lol just trying to help in a topic Im familiar with just as Id like someone to do the same for me ; p but yea nothing is as good as takin a cycle of d-bol n deca, just hope you dont have to take a piss test ha and those for sure would boost your tesosterone beyond the levels needed, you'll start lifting couches moving furniture...go the legal route for boostin test

I got my first set about a week ago and the second I started taking it my hair loss has diminished to almost nothing at all. Im just so mad because my first HT was through bosley : / n they said propecia, wanna take it? I said no(not knowing to much about anything) they said ok. Great help arent they! But about 7months ago I had another HT from them for density in the front, bad bad experience, created mucho shock loss, not having finasteride, now Im in a bind and going for my 3rd ht. Wish me Luck! Going in for a consultation with Dr. True (if anyone has feedback on him that would b great). But if your losing your hair and are slightly skeptical about proscar etc because of the side affects. Well stay in shape, eat healthy and I can guarntee u wont see sexual side affects like I havent! Just thinking out loud n sharing thats all

Taking "it" ? what product are you looking into? I can suggest several that'll blow your testosterone through the roof. One even with proven studies to combat dht conversion as well. Im into muscle building so...I know alot when it comes to that, not finasteride, sorry!

Now if all is right these are 5mg pills and I should split them into quarters which I did. -Would cutting several of them up ahead of time affect the potency at all? -And splitting these into quarters looks like taking a quarter a day will do close to nothing for me being how small they've become...? -Lastly, is there a "best" time to take it? I heard at bed time cause testosterone levels are highest in morning etc etc...and info there? Id gladly appreciate some knowledgeable advice, if any at all. Thanks alot guys

Thanks PokerBrat, it did. I should of clarified a bit, of course they always have to shave. I meant in which you answered was when do they leave it with a shaved look which is due to fue.

Ive heard of doctors shaving the donor area!? First is this true and what doctors in the tri-boro area do this as I am planning on soon getting a HT and couldnt see myself having to also deal with that cover up, wow! Hope for some quick input. Thanks guys!
