where are the pics you promised? would luv to see Vogel's work. -
First I cut the pill in half. I try to cut it so that one half is a little bigger than the other. I cut the bigger half in thirds and the smaller half in half again, yielding 5 pieces. Maybe I have a good pill cutter because it's not that hard, at least after you get the hang of it.

Thanks NW. I use proscar and cut it into five 1 mg pieces. Instead of taking it daily, I will take 1mg every other day and see if it helps. You think this will work ok? Thanks again.

I have been taking 1 mg finasteride for 8 months and it has helped me considerably in the crown. But the last few months my libido has dropped significantly. I hate to get off the drug because it has helped me, but the libido issue is obviously a problem. What can I do? Lower the dosage? Take a supplement to offset the libido lowering finasteride? Can you take Viagra while on finasteride? I appreciate your help! Thank you.

I'm sorry, I really wasn't trying to be mean, it was late at night and I was confused as to when the pics were taken - pre op, 1 month post op, etc, etc.

I hear ya, your points are well taken. And to AJ, I do think the work looks very good and I wish you the best of luck. I wasn't saying that I thought you were too young, but others usually say "don't do it!" at 25. I didn't mean to dampen your enthusiasm for your transplant and if I did I apologize. -

Yeah, I know all that. But why is no one saying he's too young? If AJ posted that he was thinking of a transplant on his hairline AND temples at age 25, there would be several e-mails screaming for him not to do it. Now that the pics are up, everyone is saying "way to go!" Sorry, I just don't get it. -

The work looks good but why is no one commenting on AJ being too young (25) for a HT???? Whenever a young guy comes on the site and says he is considering one, everyone goes crazy saying "don't do it!!" Is 25 old enough??? -

If you read my original post, I was asking if people who do not have hairloss problems have noticeable sheddingt. Like the buddy we all have who has a ton of hair. Does he still see 5-10 hairs after shampooing? That was my question. I am on Propecia.

I know this may sound like a stupid question, but does everyone shed hairs - like in the shower when shampooing - or do guys without hairloss problems not shed at all? Some days I don't notice any hairs shed after I shampoo, and other days I see 10-15 hairs. Is this cause for concern or normal??

Thank you ARfy and Jotronic. My hairline is more dense than yours was Jotronic. But I have seen some other good repair pics today from other patients as well, and the FU technology is second to none. This is such a great web site!!!!

This is a great site! i would like to find pateints here who have had good repair work done, with either graft excision and just camouflaging a pluggy hairline. i am in the process of looking through the transplant experiences section now for pictures but if you can help direct me to some people on here in particular it would be appreciaited. there is a lot to look at which is great. thank you.
