  1. After my 4th procedure (last being from H&W), my crown is finally starting to grow in. Back in the day, I'd have to use Dermmatch and Nanogen but now I can get away with just Nanogen and hairspray. The only concern is that Nanogen seems to rub off, even with their crappy "locking mist" or hair spray. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the girl I'm seeing tends to rub her hand through my head - or at least tries to. The Nanogen also rubs off on the pillow if I fall asleep without washing my hair. Anyone have any suggestion for a specific spray or technique to keep the Nanogen in and dry to the touch. Or possibly even from rubbing off on a pillow? Thanks in advance.
  2. Letterman had a hair transplant or was screwing around up there. He grew his hair out and all of a sudden he had a flowing mane. Barely receding temples, etc. I know hair looks different long but his grown out hair didn't match his short hair (as in there was way more filled in areas). Not saying he definitely had a HT, as toppik or the like may have been used. BUT he even had one of his reps comment when someone else questioned it on another show (I forget where), stating that he's "just growing it out." Burt Reynolds definitely had one. I spoke with a guy who used to do hair pieces for him and told me about his hair history. Picture was up in the office, so I had to ask.
  3. A little wrestling obsessed? Kidding. By shaving your sides, you would be exposing your scar completely. For me, anything lower than a #4 guard (on barber's clippers) cut inverted will expose the scar. How you cut your hair is irrelevant in regards to how many mega-sessions you can have, or I should say, how many mega-sessions it's possible for you to have. That varies from person to person and is dependent on your particular donor availability. Rather than read about the scars, I think you should take a look at the pictures to get an idea of how scars settle over time.
  4. Heading down to carnival next month. Should be ridiculous. Old-school hydroxycut with ephedra or the new (legal) stuff that is just caffeine or some other legal stimulant? I'm obviously no doctor but I doubt the new Hydroxycut would be of any harm whatsoever to newly transplanted hair. However I strongly believe that Ripped Fuel (which was the equivalent/competitor of Hydroxycut about 6-8 years ago) with epedra was one of the causes of my hair thinning at an early age. I used to take it to get a boost pre-workout and to help me run longer. It did help but it came with consequence (so I think). I believe ephedra, which is more or less an amphetamine, has been correlated with hair loss. Though as PSYCH 101 would teach, correlation doesn't prove causation. So as long as your hydroxycut doesn't contain ephedra, I don't think you have much to worry about. The stuff they sell nowadays is just like a strong shot of espresso.
  5. Man, Dr. Feller is going to fix that head up 1, 2, 3. No problem at all. Your crown is fine. That hairline area is going to be spectacular in 12 months. I wish I was in your position (hair-wise) going in to a Feller HT. I can already imagine the results on you.
