In November, 2008, I visited Dr. Konior's office for a consultation. I was expecting to get some good information and a slight push to schedule my hair transplant. Boy was I wrong. Dr. Konior took the time to talk me through everything and gave me some excellent information but he did not push me to schedule the surgery. In fact, he talked me into holding off for a while. Because I am young he said my hair line will continue to change. He requested that I start taking Propecia and wait at least 6 months to a year before coming back to talk to him. I was surprised but relieved to find that he was legitimately concerned about my hair loss rather than his next pay day. I do plan to go back to him soon to discuss my results with Propecia (Actually, I take Finasteride).
Anyway, here are my pictures. The first few are from October 2008 and the last few are from May 2009. I have been taking Finasteride since November 2008 I believe. Do you guys think the Finasteride is working? I don't expect to grow new hair... just maintain what I have. Also, I just recently got a hair cut so my hair in the new pictures isn't as long as in the old.
