  1. The scabs are definitely getting smaller and small hairs ( 3 mm )are poking through . I expect to lose the hairs when the scabs come off, but I have been told that some hairs might continue to grow. What has been the experience of others? What can I expect over the next week or two? Thanks guys.
  2. Sorry that there is not better definition in the photo, but you get the idea.
  3. Not much change, obviously, since yesterday. I probably had a little bit of swelling around the temples, but nothing major. The scabs seem to be getting smaller, especially on the hairline. Hopefully everything is going okay. Parable, I had my work done at the Sydney Clinic of Hair Transplantation at Double Bay.
  4. I had 730 grafts on January 14. Apart from a little donor area pain, everything appears to be going okay. Just a couple of questions: When can I expect my scabs to come off? Is wearing a baseball style cap okay 4 days post op? Are the grafts reasonably secure after 4 days? Thanks to all posters, reading and seeing the results of others was a real incentive in helping me 'take the plunge' Cheers!!

  6. I had 730 grafts to slightly lower my hairline. Apart from a little discomfort in the donor area, everything appears to be going okay. When can I expect my scabs to come off? Also, if there is any shock loss, when is that likely to happen. I don't really have many grafts in my existing hair, so should I be reasonably safe from shock loss?

  8. Hopefully there will be photos attached . These are 2 days post operation. If I can get the hang of this thing, I will keep updating them.
  9. El Guapo, I found Dr Knudsen to be very professional, relaxed and basically very easy to deal with. I am very happy with the whole procedure. I would definitely recommend him. Mr T, I have heaps of photos that i want to post but, embarrassingly, I don't know how to attach them. Any tips would be appreciated.
  10. I have taken the plunge and decided to do something about my very high hairline. Living in Australia, I did my research and decided to go with Dr Knudsen who is based in Sydney. I had the surgery on January 14. Apart from a little soreness in the donor region, I am very happy with the whole procedure. Any tips on care of my little babies would be appreciated. I am dabbing vitamin E oil on the scabs and washing with a special shampoo. I am concerned about being too rough with the grafts. How do you guys suggest I wash the grafts? P.S Some of the results I have seen on this site have been excellent. Well done guys!
