    45 year old patient who needed more density. This is after his first session. A total of 2176 follicular unit grafts were done. The after pictures are 6 months post op

    TC17 Dear Sr: In response to your passionate comments, I am a Plastic Surgeon and treat patients with a huge variety of problems as far as hair related issues and other conditions. Obviously you personally are not in need for reconstructive hair restoration but believe me there are a lot of people with scarring alopecia who do not know where to go or if it is even possible to do this as a lot of surgeons do not do much of this type of work. I will add more examples of male pattern baldness anyway.

    43 year old male with burn alopecia of the left mustache, beard, and eyebrow. We did a total of 1237 follicular unit grafts to these areas in 2 sessions.

    59 year old male developed an angio fibro sarcoma of the maxilla on the right side, for which he underwent an extensive resection followed by radiation therapy. He had male pattern baldness and has had further hair loss due to the radiation therapy required for the treatment of the sarcoma. We did a total of 926 grafts in two sessions.

    46 year old patient who wanted more density throughout, but focusing on the frontal area first. He Had grey hair his first session and once his new growth started he began to color his hair. The first session was done with a total of 2386 grafts. He returned 2 years later for a followup procedure resulting in 2508 grafts.

    16 year old female, who has scaring alopecia of the anterior frontal scalp due to an injury sustained in an automobile accident. A total of 563 follicular unit grafts were implanted in the area.

    51 year old man with limited donor site density. Did two sessions one year apart focusing in on the front of the scalp. A total of 2158 follicular unit grafts were implanted during the first session followed by 1402 follicular unit grafts the second session.

    22 year old female was burned as a child. Scar alopecia to side of scalp with loss of sideburn and behind the ear. Treatment plan of two sessions for the sideburn area. The first session was totaling 475 grafts. The results were taken after one year during her pre-operative pictures for the second session.

    7 YEAR OLD, WHO AS A YOUNG BOY HAD A MELANOTIC NEVUS EXCISED IN DALLAS. THE GRANDPARENTS WOULD NOW LIKE TO HAVE EYEBROW HAIR TRANSPLANTED IN THE AREA WHERE IT IS MISSING. A TOTAL OF 106 FOLLICULAR UNIT GRAFTS WERE IMPLANTED TO SHAPE AND FILL IN THE PROPOSED EYEBROW.

    68 year old female who had a previous facelift and forehead lift from another doctor came to consult for hairloss. She had scar alopecia recession at the front temporal area, particularly at the frontal hairline and sideburns. She wanted to undergo another facelift so we planned on doing hair transplant combined with the facelift and blepharoplasty all in one procedure. Her ending graft count was 1032 follicular unit grafts.

    53 year old male wanted more density in his hair. Total of 2425 follicular grafts consisting of one, two, and three hairs per grafts. The one follicular unit grafts were implanted in the front of the hairline followed by the two follicular hairs behind those and so on.

    37 year old male. Started by harvesting an occipital donor strip measuring about 12 x 1 cm. The strip was then dissected into 1585 follicular unit grafts consisting of 1 and 2 hairs per graft. These were then inserted one by one into the recipient sites with the use of 22.5 sharp point blades.
