  1. I am sick of this nightmare

Hey Tsakalos, You sound really low mate and I can understand why, dont give up just yet. I know its not much help but I know how your feeling.. and anyone that hasnt been in this kind of a situation wouldnt truely understand how low you can get when things dont go as you were told or expected.

In my opinion, take Spex up on his offer to help you, and put you in touch with Dr Feller... what Dr Feller did for me was transform me from where you are now....to feeling a whole lot better about myself and my hair.

At the very least, dont think that you should give up your goal of having the hair you was promised from the previous work... you can still get this sorted out mate.. and even if you think it looks bad now...what you have now, will be used as a good foundation to fill in between it and you wont even see the bits that you dont like anymore, speak to Spex.

p.s Who did your previous work?

Hang in there mate... you have help on hand...so take advantage of it :)

I wish everyone well...and wish u the best possible results to everyone as I know how important it is to how well it makes you feel when ur happy with ur appearance.

Sorry to hear you have been a victim Sparky.. (3 times!) your post will help many guys from the same fate with any luck.

If he still goes to The Hospital Group after reading this, he's nuts.

    Take care mate.

However, in order to preserve the integrity of this community and protect its members, suspicious posts must be investigated and handled accordingly. The last thing we want is newbies looking for genuine information to be deceived by potentially false testimonies and posts.

Due to the recent number of glowing reviews the Hospital Group has received by first time posters, I became skeptical of whether or not these posters were genuine. Thus a week ago, I sent several messages to various new posters asking for them to substantiate that they are indeed genine patients of the Hospital Group. I figured genuine patients should have no problem confidentially and privately presenting me with documentation proving they've undergone surgery there. However, only one "Lisa Martin" responded.

Since the other posters have not responded within a week, I do not believe these other posters are genuine patients. Thus, I've removed their posts.

In the event any of these posters choose to provide me with the information I've asked for, I will allow them to continue to post their experience. Until they do however, I will not allow potentially false testimonies to damage the integrity of this community and send members to a clinic potentially using covert promotional tactics.

    Best wishes,

    Bill

Bill, I want to commend you for the good work you are doing at protecting the 'false claims' from 'false posters' this is a really important job to be sorting out the honest from the false claims.. it shows just what lengths they will go to, to grab in people without any concern for there health or well being.. well done Bill.

I really think this needs to be said and made clear that this is very serious issue for someone (mostly a newbie looking for some honest support) to believe what a poster is telling them to be true.

ThinningBoldly, I only want to be 100% honest with you....and if you was my brother..a friend or even just someone in the street asking for advice.... I would tell you to grab your coat and RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THAT HOSPITAL GROUP CLINIC AS YOUR LEGS WILL CARRY YOU!! Before you make the biggest mistake of your life.

This is my honest opinion and I have had 4 ht's and know what I am talking about, as I suffered a terrible HT in the UK that ruined my life for a long time! Please CANCEL.. there are some GREAT GENUINE people that can and will help you to achieve your goals.

I am from the UK and I would definitely recommend you having a chat with Spex. I know its the best decision I made contacting Spex..

Just to show you what you have escaped happening to you, have a look at this guys experience with the Hospital Group.. (very similar to my own results in the UK)

I was just about to say exactly the same... 7 months is far from the end result, at this stage its looking fantatsic...better than I did at this stage. Keep us posted.. the quality of the hair (naturalness) carries on improving way beyond a year ! I was seeing amazing natural looking hair improving all the time after the year marker. So your in great shape, all your looking for right now is the signs of growth and not to be concerned about the wavyness of the new hair as that will all happen later icon_smile.gif

  11. I wish I had scrolled up to look at your before pics more closely now... as you look really good! You must be over the moon with how natural and full your hair looks now! Congrats it already looks full and natural but there will still be even more thickening happening over the coming months... you look great icon_wink.gif

M&M - sorry for the delay in responding to your query. Dr Feller has remained supportive throughout and ready to answer my occasional questions. Quite rightly, he has adopted a steady "wait and see" approach but he accepts that I may need more work on the right side in due course. For my part, I never expected to get the hair I wanted in one pass and I have realistic expectations for when I should go for HT number 2. In my mind, I think it should be a few years off, when I have lost more natural hair on top and need more work there too.

    Regards

Acrobaz, your right on target and looking even better than I was at this stage... everyone is different with there regrowth 'timing' but one thing which is the same is that even after a year... the hair then starts to become even more natural as it grows out and settles into its new home!! I am certain even 2 years after my 1st HT my hair quality is still becoming more and more natural until its undetectable between the native hair and the grafts.

I think you look awesome at this stage and I like how your thinking realistically as its not always 1 pass... its great to hear you have a mind set as it sounds spot on to me.. having a touch in is really the icing on the cake in most cases.

All the best and keep doing what your doing. I'm looking forward to seeing how things are going in the near future icon_smile.gif

    2. How many transplants?

    3. How many operations?

    4. Consultants in the UK?

    5. Any package deals abroad that you can recommend?

    6. How long off work?

Thanks so much guys - Im so down about this, Im 29 and all my friends and brothers still have their hair icon_confused.gif

Also sorry about the bad pics, if you need other then plz let me know

Hi Rob, Sorry to hear things are getting bad for you, you really are in far better shape than I was at 22! I know the feeling about being stressed out and depressed. I am very happy with my results and would definitely recommend you give Spex a call.. he's helped me a 100's of UK guys to grow there hair back where it belongs icon_smile.gif

You might want to check out his website..and contact him for advice.. he wont push you into anything but a top guy and will help you to stop worrying about all this.. at the very least icon_smile.gif

also...I just want to say...congrats in finding these forums!! Many UK guys go straight to a clinic without even researching them with very poor results (Like I did for my 1st HT) I wish I had known about them before sooner.

    All the very best.

  14. Here's a quick update, I took a few pics yesterday which is around 4.5 months post op.

I am really grateful to be able to wake up in the morning and not feel like crying when I look in the mirror anymore! Thanks to Dr Feller and Spex and all you guys for your support as it really helps...thank u.

    All the best everyone icon_smile.gif

  15. Hi MrMojoRisin,

Firstly, WELL DONE icon_smile.gif!! You didn't believe what you were told by Tarquin!! He has given the same 'sales pitch' to 1000's of guys that have been less fortunate than you! icon_mad.gificon_mad.gificon_mad.gif (the ones that didnt walk away) icon_frown.gif

In all the years I have read many HT forums I have never heard of 1 satisfied customer from The Hospital Group... only very upset and disappointed patients with terrible looking hair transplants and nasty scars icon_rolleyes.gif

    To help answer your ques,

    1. I think you may be having an unrealistic expectation if you are going to be a full NW7 (Cue ball) hair loss in a few years. It's possible to have coverage so you look a lot better but a full head of hair is a very big expectation.

    2. I dont know about the meds you mentioned, but I take Finasteride daily which has prevented further loss for me. Meds are very worth considering in you case as its very likely you wont end up a 'cue ball' if you start them as soon as possible. I would do your research of these further as soon as you can as it sounds pretty important to you as you still have plenty of native hair at the moment. The ultimate goal is to retain as much of the native hair you have now than require more HT work than necessary.

    3. I'm from the UK but decided to travel to Feller Medical in NYC for mine. I wanted the best I could find by one of the best anywhere around. In my TOP 3 choices, the best HT clinic's are based in USA/Canada in my opinion. You will need to do more research on this and find out how easy it is to travel to get the best possible result you can.. as you have to live with it icon_smile.gif and you'll be pleased you went to the best and not just the closest to home icon_smile.gif

Good luck and I wish you all the best icon_smile.gif and well done for doing your research icon_wink.gif

  16. 3 months post FUE.

Feels awesome to be able to completely forget about my hair now (never thought this would be possible a few years ago!) and to be able to do crazy styles again now, since the last recent HT..

My only worry is what style I am going to do these days! Has been a long hard journey but been worth it now.

All the best with all your new hair styles! icon_smile.gif

    Take care.

  17. Just a quick update, 3 months post fue and now back to my pre op stage again now. All the donor area's are back to a nice full state just as it was before, even with a fairly low cut.

Happy days and looking forward to the 6 months mark now... couldnt be happier icon_smile.gif I can just chill now and enjoy the results in the near future.

Happy New Year everyone and best of growth and recovery etc....to all my fellow hair hunters!

Take care guys icon_wink.gif hang in there!

    All the best.
