Comb I'm really looking forward to seeing how your ht turns out. 5404 is a huge amount of grafts. H&W have had some really impressive results. I hope your results are great as well. How are you feeling about things so far?

That is the largest session I can remember. Hanson and Wong really know how to maximize these surgeries. I hope you have an amazing result!!!! Hanson and Wong often do have great results so I look forward to watching your progress!

I have read of some HT patients having old "plugs" removed. Would that help you or hurt you?

I agree the HT boards can be confusing. On some boards some doctors are trashed and some doctors are praised and other boards sometimes you sometimes see the opposite responses to the same doctors. If your hair loss is not very large are you sure this is a path you want to go down? May I ask your age? If you can see some patients in person I would recommend that. Pictures can be quite misleading sometimes. I wish you the best of luck.

Thanks for such a great post. Most people on this board will understand how you feel. It is great that you stay in shape and keep the "GQ" look. There are a lot of guys that shave their heads that women find very attractive. It sounds like your lady is great so please do not take her for granted in any way. Talking about you being able to get other ladies probably made her look at you that way for a reason. As far as your family goes I'm sure they do not mean to hurt you but I agree jokes from people you care about hurt much more. Could you tell a family member you trust how much it hurts you and maybe that family member in private can let people know some things are not cool? I hope you feel better about things soon. I'm glad you have a lady and family you care about.

I pmed LMS. I told him that I did not want to be in the middle of any arguments but I did believe that he was correct with his assertion that even some of the "top docs" have some unhappy patient results.

I think this thread seems to have gone a bit off course. I do not think LMS should be attacked for his opinions regarding HT's nor should anybody else for their opinions regarding HT's.

At a NW7 I would hate for you to get a HT and regret it. I agree with the people that say shave it off. I have a friend who is in his mid 40's and has a young face. With his head shaved he passes for 25.

I think it is OK for you to give your honest opinions as long as you do it without any bias. I have seen some bad results from some of the "top rated" doctors so I think I understood what you may have been trying to say. Often those cases seem to go away because many people that have a bad result do not want to talk much about it.

I can see what you are referring to. I understand your concerns. At 33 days though most the hairs will fall out so I'm hoping that those hairs will grow back in future months. They may have just entered the 2-3 month dormant stage. Keep us informed. I wish you the best of luck!
