I have started using Minoxidil 5% topical solution 1 month after my HT. It is too early to say if it really helps to speed the hair growth of the transplanted hair on front of my Head.

Question 1: Does anyone know using Minoxidil 5% topical solution can speed the growth of transplanted hair?

Questin 2: What other product besides Monoxidil should i use? i am at 2 months postop and wants to grow hair faster as much as i can because i am going to visit my native county in the 1st week of January. If anyone have any suggestion please help me.

what is your doctor recommending about the use of rogaine after the HT? My doctor said i can use it 2 weeks afer the HT. I started using minoxidil topical solution after the 4 weeks of my HT.

i can see you are getting lots of hair at 4.5 months which is very good. For the second HT i would wait atleast 12 months so you can have the meximum density of the transplanted hair.

Afer my HT i am thinking of getting a hair cut at 1 month (30 days) time period. Is there anything i or barber need to know? Should i inform barber that i have had a HT so be careful and use only Scissor?

Interesting point about temple area but i do not understand what you trying to say. i have seen lots of patients got HT in the Temple/sideburn area with natural look and density. Can you explain me further because i am thinking of getting more hairs in the temple are in the future.

it would be really nice to have a good HT Surgeron in india. i am going india in december therefore i would really like to see dr. mahadevia, staff, patients pictures and techniques he uses. if i could i will keep you posted.

My first hair transplat was perforemed by dr. rahal, canada last week.

in my case for the extra grafts dr. rahal gave me the reasonable price. i have never complained about that. Not only that he is very clear and fair to all his patiens. i am very sorry if i have said anything which is not right about the dr. rahal's policy for extra grafts.

i would first check with my doctor. it depends upon your donor site density.

I had some pain on the night of surgery. your swellng will occur on 3rd day and will be back to normal in 5-6 days. you should be ok for leaving the next day. to avoid sever sweeling rest your head on the chair and tilt it back at the airport or during the flight if possible.

Bill from now i think, all doctors should have a written policy for extra grafts which every patient must sign before the surgery(no verbal-it can be very confusing), so everseas patients can manage the extra $$ amount. This could be also big factor to short list a doctor. Bill, i am also not saying here what ever happened with me is wrong because extra graft policy was not cleard before the surgery. overall, i choose a top class surgeon and everything went fine. i would recommend dr. rahal.

i agree every doctor have their own policies. first of all i am just asking a question. there is nothing wrong about what dr. rahal did about the extra grafts. we both agreed on 3000 grafts plus 200 more if needed. there is no misunderstanding. overall let me say this, if everything is done correctly according to policy then i would say its prefect.

Have anyone noticed their ears after hair transplant? Top portion of my ear (helix) which is close to the sideburn is sticking out (away from head). Everyone noticed in my family this type of change. I think this is because of the sutures at the donor site and once sutures are removed ears will be back to normal.

i agree with you. dr. rahal is right for what he has done. According to my experience he is a very nice, talented doctor. Adrian, technicians and teresa has been very caring and helpful.

If i have to go again for 2nd HT I would definitely recommend Dr. Rahal.

Bill good to hear from you. as you mentioned i hope i will have nice thick looking hair. i am on finasteride 1mg by cipla sine june.
