and by the way my last post has absolutely nothing to do with your age(which no surgery should be determined by age whatsoever in my opinion, but the degree of hairloss) i jsut think your hairloss is too much for the technology right now. well i mean unless your ready for ur friends to ask you whats wrong with your hair when your transplant grows out and only fillng in 1/4 of the balded area.

all i can say man is think long and hard. as another young guy just 3 times your junior is that it is probably not worth it just yet man. honestly what i would do if i were you(bein ga young guy and knowing what its like) is just honestly shave your shit off man. your head is already showing, honestly just shave it off if i were u. i mean dude how bad could it be? at your level of hairloss i would say f*** the transplant and just shave it for awhile dude. just look at the pictures around here at ur level of hairloss i personally don't think at this point in the game its worth it to have a surgery. what if it would turn out completely horrible and then the one thing to heal it would be to shave your head and then u got a big ass scar on ur head?

My quesion is the saem as my subject. recently on the www.baldingblog.com, dr rassman says cats are susceptible to minoxidil(even though the 4 deaths occured from actually putting it on the animals fur whihc i would never do) but my dogs like to rub up against my face and stuff and i don't want to be hurting them.

Bill, sorry about the inconsistent lighting, i was out of town for one of the sets and the other 2 have been in 2 totally different places. from now one i have a designated spot where i took my last ones ( my room ) lol

janna thanks for your continued optimism. do you really think you see a positive effect already? i TRUELY haven't noticed anything beneficial and it seems my hairline keeps progressing worse. BUT ALSO i know its nearly impossible to poke out benefits while looking in the mirror and looking back at the 2nd set of pictures that i spiked my hair up in, my temples look way worse. so either my hair just looks a lot better longer or its maybe helping my temples already. idk thank you though even tho not sure of ne benefit the optimism surely helps my soul lol

it leaves my hair really unmanagable. i have curly hair naturally and as its growing its making my temples go really flat, which causes a really dumb look

Is it ok to wash your hair maybe 3 or 4 hours later after applying rogaine, or are you losing possible beneficial effects?

Guys just realized that these Neosh studys STARTED in May 2007, it is now May 2008 meaning by the end of this month it will have been a full year with the treatment. So if we ballpark that we can expect to see a REPUTABLE update from them around September at the latest I would assume.

JW i seriosuly like relate to your situation so much. My parents and brothers are just acting like im insane when im having a really rough day about it and i finally will tell them its about my hair and theyll say im just imagining it and stuff.(there in denial of it) it sucks because half of my family and immediate family are models... and im not ugly.. just really need my hair lol or no hair at all.(bicking it) just rather emberassing how i use to fit in with them and now feel to ugly or something idk whatever

I'm sorry too Dewayne, like my post said I "really" was losing my mind. It just really affects my social life and my group of friends are extremely social. I've shaved my head to a #2 many times I know how it looks and I liked

it but now if I would do a number 2 it would be seriously emberrasing because the horseshoe you can see when I do it. It sucks because I have pics from 5 months ago when I just stopped using propecia(was on it for 7months) for the very first time and I still had kick ass hair... i stopped propecia for 2 months and now im sorta screwed. during the 2months i was off of it i didn't notice i was losing hair because my hair was still long and then i shaved it and i can seriously remember like a scene from a movie when i thought to myself my life now sucks. and i know thats a terrible way to think of it(and its not how I truely feel) its just I feel like a dork every morning after the shower because its just like i look the exact same.. my bodys still in shape, still same personality, its just i feel like i look so stupid idk.. i think i had that disorder or something i have no idea.. whatever thanks dwayne for apoligizng made me happy even tho it was rather my fault

Bill I remember reading a post from you asking that the members give you some input on adding some other labels or whatever to post into. I was thinking that for the Hair transplant Patient Photo albums if you could make like seperate albums for them to post into according to there NW scale. For example all the Norwood 7 transplant patients would put there results in the Norwood 7 Topic. I know that would probably put a lot of work in but at the same time it would be so much easier for people looking for transplants results with hairloss related to theres. A thing about this site is that it's hard to find someone that has a balding pattern like mine, a lot of them are like nw 2s gettng transplants.

Just wanted to point out that I just went and got a haircut. Trimmed my sides down to a #3 so it could catch up with my hair on top which grows way shorter. Anyway just wanted to say to the guy who asked I keep my hair short that for the next update it will be the shortest it has been for any of the pictures other than the very first no medication one.(that was a #2). Wish I could just do the buzz cut like i use to but ive lost to much on my hairline and the horseshoe is too visible when my top is buzzed... i really plan on just bicking my hair off and getting over this depressed nonsense....

Yeah Anon, I don't really have any hope left lol. Especially with Intercytex treatment, the most promising in my opinion are Neosils NEOSH101 and Follica as of right now... but who knows? Im just hoping intercytex can clone maybe 2000grafts? Be nice to squeeze out 4000 naturally for yur first hairtransplant then have the extra 2000 for 6000 grafts

*due to Jannas optimism I have updated for the 3month propecia, 2 month rogaine.... really can'twait till both are at 6 months!!...

wow... a new hair procedure noone can afford.. that makes sense. bosleys getting first rights most likely and that automatically means it won't be too outrageous.. 100,000 my ass lol

thanks for posting your progress. just one favor if you can have the same haircut that you had for the first photo throughout the process. it is a short haircut and shows more detail. when you grow your hair it kindof hides some hairloss. thanks again.

i am on meds and can tell you it might not grow hair but atleast keep what you have.

Sorry I am growing my hair out again for possibly the last time... I will probably shave my head down to a #2 mark at the one year mark and if i still have the horse shoe im just bicking it, simple as that. i promise eventually youll get to see my hair at the exact same length as teh first picture, just not until jan 09 lol..
