I've been browsing through all these boards a while, and one advice keeps showing up again and again - "don't do ht if you're below norwood scale 3". I am not going bald, or thinning, but I am still considering AFU HT, for cosmetic reasons. I want to get rid of my recessions at the temples, and maybe lower my hairline a quater inch or so. I am 22, and my hairline (including my father and grandfathers), was high since I was born. Now, neither my father, nor grandfathers went bald. Even my brother has high placed hairline, but it's not as apparent, because he's blond, whereas my hair is brown. From my observations, I am confident that even a small ht would make a world of a difference in my particular case, as far as looks are concerned. The benefits are great, and so far the only risk I see is the shock fallout, but even that shouldn't be a danger, considering my age, and absence of balding. Considering all above, would it still be wrong for me to go with HT procedure?
