Considering that I am not as satisfied as I should be 4 and a half months after my procedure, I am reflecting upon the fact that I did not take the time to thoroughly discuss my objectives with my doctor.
I came from out of town so never met the doctor before the day of the surgery and expected to have a chance on that morning to sit down with the doctor to discuss...Maybe I did not insist enough but the doctor simply drew a hair line in less that a minute and did not consider my opinion that the hair line was too high. He infact told me : Thats all we got buddy !!! You'll be able to comb your hair back !!!
In reality at my age, 25, I will not comb my hair back, and my main objective is to look as unbald as possible not to have long hair. I always shaved my head and enjoyed it, but when the crown pattern became apparent, that's when I considered HT to be able to give me back some kind of full looking shaved or short head of hair.
Do you think the doctor should always take at least a few minutes to discuss these issues with his patient or should I have insisted more to take that time with him ??
