I looked at your profile photos, and it looks like you've made quite a journey from where you started. Great results thus far, you have no reason to worry with concealers! I'd say let 'em go for good.
Best of luck -
Thanks KD2020. I think I can ditch the consealers pretty soon.I just want the front to continue to fill in a lil more. Maybe another 2 or 3 months or so.

I can relate to this.Dr.Arocha didn't shave my recipient site either which absolutely helped me conceal my recent procedure. After 4 months Noone and I mean no one has even questioned me about it . Thank goodness

Your hair looks great ! Thanks for sharing .I need 3 more months to hit the 7 mark and hope to see similar results .To think you still have more maturing to go. You have to be pleased thus far !
Happy growing

I think each case is different. Some experience shockloss or shedding others experience minimal or none. Alot has to do with the skills of your Dr. I am sitting here at 4 months post op and I can honestly say I feel the same hairs that were transplanted and the same ones that never shed and are growing now.I did however have some shockloss around the scar but this was temporary.
Good luck to you on your progress.

Anyway, a quick update.
I managed to spot quite a few thin, colourless hairs in the correct lighting and also have quite a few tiny black dots appearing which I can only hope means more hair trying to break through the surface. Either that or I've has a mass break out of black heads!!
The signs are promising.
Its not worth trying to capture on camera at this stage as it will not be picked up.
sounds like you may be experiencing some new growth finally ! Any updates, hope things are finally picking up for you Buzz
All the best,
Scott

Thanks.Dr Arocha's hairlines are a thing of beauty, one of the many reasons I chose him for my surgery.

Looking good for month 4, Scooter.
Once the hair starts to thicken up, it's going to look proper.
Have you considered using a little bit of concealer for your crown, mid-scalp area?
I've been using it to supplement the HT, and it definitely gives you a more full look and there is no bare scalp showing.
It takes just a few sprinkles and a bit of hair spray and I've had it exposed to a bit of rain with no issues.
I've also used it near my hairline and it's amazing - so much so that I'm afraid I'm getting addicted to it, LOL.
Thanks Riddick. While at 4 months post op, I am pleased with my growth so far. However, I still won't leave the house without concealers either. It is true one can get "addicted" with the concealers.I am hoping one day soon I can phase them out. I usually won't post pics while using concealers as I feel it would sort of defeat the purpose of showing monthly growth result pic. Having said that, Dermatch and Toppiks have been my bestest friends as of late :^).here are a few pics with concealers

Thanks Spanker.Yes I've had my share, but pleased that it hasn't been near as tough as others. I am so appreciative of this community and the wealth of information found here has helped me big time. This second time around has been a breeze and no one has been the wiser , if anything it is just beginning to look and feel thicker.
Happy growing fellas,
Scott

Thanks guys for your input .I am still seeing hair coming back from the shock loss around the scar.I was concerned at 1st but it has gotten much better the past month and should get even better.Just a few months ago I wouldn't use a guard less than #4 because of the shockloss was so apparent.

Thank you Pete.
Havent shared any pics of the scar yet so I will try to post a few .I was able to finally shave fade with a 1,2 and 3 guard.I think the scar is already looking very good

4 months in and I am happy to say I can feel things starting to improve. I think I am about where I should be for 4 months ! The Fin I have been taking is also appearing to help out with my crown. So here are some pics. Im getting excited for the summer and hoping my growth continues to improve. Feedback is welcome.
Thanks for viewing,
