  1. Attached are photos of the donor area at week 4:
  2. Thanks! Were you taking Fin at this point? I was having some bad nausea with the prescribed 1mg and am now balancing it out with .25 every other day. Will be starting Min once I confirm the nausea has subsided
  3. Will be taking more photos but this is how I’m looking after the 4 week mark from above. Please let me know how you guys think it is going!
  4. Hi Guys, Here are my Day 10 photos. I have some lingering scabs that I didn't want to force too much, but they should be off by tomorrow given how easily the rest came off. I have some redness in my temple areas which I'm not too worried about, but I'm aware it is there. Anything specific I should be dong to alleviate the redness? Any suggestions, and feedback is appreciated, Thanks so much! Would love to hear opinions on how the work is looking! The photos again do not look nearly as good/clear after uploading.
  5. Thanks so much! Am really looking forward to the progress, and am confident this will go well! Thanks to this forum for all the info, couldn't have done it without you guys. I'll be posting regular updates, though it is still early, around 10 day, 1 month, etc. Doctor Yaman also asks for the photos at those stages.
  6. Hey! I touched upon that a bit above but Dr. Yaman was involved throughout. He himself performed the consult, as well as the incision process, while techs did the extraction and implantation. He regularly checked up and made sure everything was going well, and assured I am in good hands! Yaman recommended Finasteride and Minoxidil, but that was not included in the medications provided by the clinic, which most if not all of Yaman's patients I'm guessing receive. These include Lanzedin as a stomach protector, Macrol as an antibiotic, and Prednol. Furacin is also the antibiotic used for the for the donor area. I am currently taking Fin 1x a day, 1 MG and the Minoxidil will begin 3 weeks after per clinic instructions.
  7. Looks great! Happy growing! Just visited Yaman myself on 3/9. Hoping for great results!
  8. Hey! I had a great experience with Doctor Yaman. He was incredibly kind and present throughout the process, even while his techs were doing their work. The techs in the clinic were also super kind, though there was a bit of chatter towards the end, which is understandable after such a long day of work. He assured me the techs were doing great and was super confident in their abilities, as well. During the initial consult by phone it was estimated we'd need about 4,000+ grafts, but my combed hair also was covering a good amount of space as seen in the photos. Once there in person, Dr. Yaman advised I may need to come back after a year for more, totaling up to 6,600 grafts, Given the experience I've had, and if all growing goes well, I would 100% go back to him. His employee (Doga?) who communicates with you via WhatsApp was super kind, helpful, and honestly made the experience way easier for me. I am someone who asks excessive amounts of questions and I'm super meticulous about my after-care, and they have made me feel confident in the work and healing process. Overall, I am very happy with Dr. Yaman though it has been around 4 days since surgery. I am pumped to see the growth, and am excited to share my experience to hopefully help others, as this forum has helped me TREMENDOUSLY not only with Doctor recs, but medication info, supplementary info such as Saline waters to use, vitamins and more! Edit: The price was $3,250 USD, which included everything minus airfare (Breakfast at hotel, lunch during procedure, travel to and from clinic and airport. There was also good food around)
  9. The photos look way more red on the site than they do in person/phone, and I may have to also go back to finish the crown in a year, to total 6,600 grafts or so.
  10. Here are post wash pics with headband, and today, 3/13/24!
  11. Here are my photos for Yaman's consult as well as directly post op.
  12. Hey Guys, Here to share my experience and process with Doctor Yaman after years of being self conscious about my hair loss. I decided to visit Dr. Yaman after reading reviews on this site and determining that he'd be a great fit for me, personally. Communication with the clinic via WhatsApp was very helpful and they were very responsive to any messages or concerns that I had. I didn't have any issues reaching them or getting answers to my questions. Shout out to the team at the clinic who made me feel super comfortable! I see a lot of people talking about the accommodations and things around the hotel, but I will pass over that as there really isn't much to do there, and I was not able to explpore much other than the occasional restaurant close by. The hotel itself was nice, and all I needed. The consult and incision work itself was done with Dr. Yaman with the anesthesia and extraction done by technicians. Dr. Yaman checked up on us (3 patients) during the whole process and they were able to ease my anxiety with medication, as well. Anesthesia was the painful part, but the rest of the process was smooth sailing. in total, had 4,550 grafts which included 1,030 single units, 2,150 double units, and 1,370 multiple units. Here are photos from my initial correspondence with Dr. Yaman as well as the unkept hair photos taken prior to the procedure and the following posts will be the days after. please let me know what you think and ask away!
