  1. Hello forum! , my name is Tamer and I reside in the US in Texas. I am currently in a hotel in Istanbul Turkey post surgery and getting ready to fly home Friday. I wanted to share my experience with Pure Line Clinic and some photos. I will continue to update my process. In total I paid 3100 Euros with extra hotel accommodation. The operation was performed with the FUE method. I thank everyone in the forum for their help. It was harder to decide because my budget wasn't very high! My hair loss had been going on for 9 years and I could no longer style my hair. It was time for a hair transplant! I had 3 friends around me who went for hair transplantation in Turkey, while one of them was very satisfied, the other two were not very happy. I was very hesitant before due to so many photoshopped pictures and misinformation on the internet. Some groups on Facebook and this forum made my decision even easier. I won't spend too much time on the decision process. I researched for about a few months, and narrowed it down to 3 and had video consults with 2. I really like Pure Line Clinic.Dr. Mesut and medical consultant Selim was the most reassuring meeting. What made me extra happy was that no one with less than 5 years of experience worked at Pure Line Clinic and that they only accepted one operation per day. I also talked to 5 people from Facebook and Instagram who had been there before. It was also important for my decision Yesterday March 12th was my procedure, so I am one day post op. Here was my day yesterday: I arrived at 9am to meet with Selim and we have completed the registration process. He also gave me preliminary information. They were actually performing one operation a day and Dr. Mesut speaks English fluently. Afterwards, blood was taken and the consultation started.First, I showed my old photos and gave some information about how I wanted it, and my hairline was the way I wanted it to be. An assistant Asma shaved my head, Dr Mesut made further adjustments on the hairline once all was clear and we agreed on the plan, took more pictures. Team spent alot of time on the hairline, measuring my face, and discussing what she thought best for my face shape, etc. 1: Local Anesthesia and Extraction: I'm not going to sugarcoat this. I usually don't mind needles but the bald areas of my scalp are super sensitive and those started to really hurt after awhile. They used a painless anesthesia device called Puresoft and said that they performed anesthesia with the thinnest needles. I can't say it was painless, but it wasn't difficult. Then the extraction started and I didn't feel anything. My final count was 4084. It takes around 2.5 hours 2: Incisions were completely around 1 hour. We discussed in the morning the importance of the hair angles. While this process was going on, I made my choice from the restaurant menu and we took a 20-minute lunch break. 3: Was the longest period and this was handled by Asma and Canan and placing the grafts in the incisions. It takes around 3 hours 4: Bandage the donor area, take more pictures, go over medicines, how to sleep. I left around 7pm that evening and ate dinner at the hotel with room service. It was a much easier day than I expected. I didn't sleep well the first day. Since I had to avoid hitting my head and the first day was extra important, I didn't get much sleep. I slept for about 4 hours. Hope to have better sleep tonight. I will update in two weeks and then once a month. Thank you again to this forum for all the support and knowledge. I hope my journey helps others. I am extremely pleased with Pure Line Clinic. They are very supportive and communicate well and said they will be available and following my progress for the next 12 months. The most important thing is the result! But overall I can say that I am very satisfied. I don't think I can get such a service by paying 15.000-20.000USD in US
  2. It looks pretty good! It was a nice experience sharing. Thanks! I will fly to Istanbul today to have a hair transplant. I hope I have a good time
  3. Thank you everyone, I am going for a hair transplant tomorrow! I chose a place that suits my budget and I will share the process! They also seem more professional than many clinics I've talked to. I hope the result will be as I want
  4. Hello everyone, I have been researching hair transplant clinics for a while and decided to go to Turkey. I see many alternatives from 1500USD to 15000USD. Frankly, I see very good results for 3000-3500 USD, but doctors with a price of 10000-12000 dollars are generally recommended in the forum. As far as I can see, not all of these doctors' results and comments are actually good. On what basis are recommendations made? What are the points to consider when making a choice? What are these doctors good for doing differently? What are others missing? While Turkey is so famous for hair transplantation, are all clinics really working poorly except for 3-4 doctors? I found a few good alternatives around 3000 Euros, but I'm confused by people's prejudices against other clinics here and on the forum. What are you thinking ? Tamer Sam Best Regards
  5. One of the best results I've seen! And the price is really good. Can you check the messages please?
  6. How much did you pay? I'm also researching, but I can't decide if it would be right to go to Bicer!
