I don't have pre-op photots to compare to. I'm actually going into the office on monday to see if everything is alright with it. Wish me luck

I should also note that I can see very many little thin type hairs. Is it possible these are transplanted hairs that havent matured yet, or are these vellus type hairs that are shrunken? I'm just so concerned this transplant may have been a total failure

yea I had 2200 grafts placed in the hairline/front area, with some put into the bridge. Doctor said he did about 40 grafts per/cm in the front. My concern is that a lot of the hairs have not sprouted at all. Now looking at before pictures from the doc and looking in the mirror, I can tell that hair has grown, that is obvious. Just by looking at me you can still see so much scalp. Not very much coverage at all.

Curious if anyone on here that reads this is a 'late bloomer' and had his/her HT start to grow later than the 'norm'? Really sort of looking for encouragement since I'm in my 8 month post HT and still have not seen substantial growth.

Basically to sort of follow my HT progress close-up. Also to see future hairloss (and how much), should medication(s) not help/work.

Does anyone here happen to know where one could buy a video microscope? The type used during consultations/followups on HT's? Thanks

I got my transplant about 7 months ago and the regular redness has since disapeared. But everytime I get in the shower, wash my hair etc, after I get out I notice my scalp is pink/redish where my transplant was. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my scalp?

For those of you who have had HT's, how many grafts per square cm did you receive? I was told mine was around 40 and I'm curious after it all grows in totally, if much scalp will be showing?

I don't have a cam so I can't really show. Some has grown but most hasn't yet, which i've obviously been very worried about, which is why I found this forum . All I can really do is be optimistic I guess. How is your hair coming along? Where were the grafts mainly put? Mine was mostly put on the hairline/frontal area

My hair started to thin around the age of 16. I'm 20 now and just 7 months ago had a HT of about 2200 grafts. So, you're not alone with thinning of the hair while young.

Hello. Around Nov 16 2004 I had 2200 grafts implanted into mostly the frontal area/hairline (which was pretty much non-existant), and some grafts feathered into the bridge, all the way to the crown area. It's been 7 months almost to the day, and while I do see a slight difference, I still have not seen dramatic results. Seeing all these before and after pictures of 3-6 months, and how much hair has grown in, i've become quite concerned and am almost worrying that maybe the transplant failed and/or many of the grafts didn't 'take'? Any feedback/experiences/advice appreciated
