  1. IMO Bicer didn't check all MY boxes. Maybe good for you ? Thailand, Belgium, Portugal, Brussels, Mexico. These are a few outside the US I came across which hosted ethical and professional Drs. Only my opinion.
  2. If budget isnt an issue, I'm sure you can find them. Absolutely some skill to be found. Look into fuecapilar
  3. But are majority of Turkish mill or not doctors registered to this ISHRS? Also, I don't believe it means "nothing". It provides further information about the Dr, secondary source of credentials and patient history/treatment (granted you can weed out the bs ones). I didn't say ONLY go with such a Dr, but it's a good source of information on the Dr and history
  4. Keep in mind do what's best for you . There are some good docs there. Just hit or miss even with them. Check my last post. Left some tips
  5. So this place has been really helpful. The guys seems pretty knowledgeable and can steer you in the right direction. But you've gotta do your own DD for sure. I've put my deposit and expected to go in 5 months. I've decided with FutFue combo. Its best choice given my NW5. I feel it'll give me back a strong hairline and good good coverage/density all around. Likely will return in a year if needed. Unless FIN or MIN can suffice. I've never taken meds before but I'm going to hop on since I have some time until my appointment. Overall I have strong hair, everywhere besides the top of my head. But it's time. Lmk if you have any questions. Do your research. Weight your options. Don't go with Dr who has immediate openings Choose a Dr part of the ISHRS. Check the website, they post awards, grants and articles on the Dr. Reach out to actual past clients
  6. Yes Imo, yes. I been on this journey and finally just booked a Dr after 6 months of digging. Spoke to drY. Didn't like how it was alot of hit or misses. Id steer away from turkey and take the time to research more options. Even if you've gotta save $
  7. Hey y'all. I've done what you've all done. Spending countless hours crawling the net, reaching out, researching and going down the rabbit hole for the proper HT doctor. I was on my way to booking with HOI in Turkey. Before I could send a deposit, I had a bad feeling. I mean, all I was initially provided was a price. That's it. The coordinator just sent me a cost of 6500USD. RED FLAG. Even tho I know people who went, I gained lots of insight from people. Especially those who contributed comments on my last post. I also considered Party and Pinto. But I settled with Dr. Loauwong. It's pricey but he said because I am a nw5/6, he can get great coverage over 2 procedure with FUE and FUT combo. Hoping to get in before April. Gur and Turan haven't got back to me, but my gut tells me based on my case, I made a good choice. If there's any interest, I will document the entire experience in a POV fashion from arrival, procedure and post op. I'm glad I have this community to rely on when I'm done so that I can ask, share and calm nerves I'm sure to have. If you have any questions or comments I'd love to hear em. Also, if you live in the area, I'll treat you to dinner once I arrive if you show me around.
  8. Funny you mentioned. I just got quote back from them for 8k. Dr Priyadarshini Das would be my choice. They have prices set based on which doctor to see. Ofcourse, Dr Sethi is $$$$$ package. From what I'm reading, seems Eugenix is being said to be a better option than DrBekir, Turan or Gur. What do you say to that?? Thanks for the rec btw
  9. I'm looking at 6-8k. Traveling from US. I wouldn't mind the scar. Id probably get it micro tatted anyway. I have my hair cut short on sides as it. I'm open to it. Just looked up places for FUT but most places don't do it or consider it outdated. Honestly, the place LONG HAIR CLINIC had me at price and communication. But when they said " you can choose FUE or DHI", I was shocked. I ain't no Dr to make the call on what method for best outcome. Idk. Appreciate you
  10. Also @jjalay if you went to Turkey. Where would YOU feel good with? I even try Thailand. Dr said a crazy amount of $ tho
  11. I appreciate the honesty. I am also working to find out if DrGur or Turan are available. What do you think. I'm stuck because I won't have the next 6mo this off of work like I do know for ever maybe. I feel maybe Switzerland will be really high in cost. Like more than I can afford. I also am stuck because of a certain budget #. I'm going to follow the link you sent me and poke around. I really do appreciate that valuable Info. Oh yea. Get this. What if they say I can use beard donors. Red flag?
  12. So that's what he charges. The 1.5per? I'm trying to get in with him. They said maybe April. Waiting to hear back on assessment
  13. Between all the bs we have to wade through with these coordinators, to reading up on the Drs. I got lost. I've 90% decided on an actual Dr vs a clinic type with bunch at once. HLC wants 12.5k USD, HOI said 7k USD, and it goes on.. Oh! Long Hair Clinic was best quote. But said over 3000 grafts needed. And they want to use DHI per the Dr rec. Idkkk about that. Shouldn't it be other way around, especially for large spots. Idk man, I need some guidance or help with a good place. I'm not wanting to go budget but I'm not reach. Just don't want to ruin myself. Thanks y'all
