  1. Agreed, I believe most of or all of us would prefer in the first place not to take it if we werent suspectible to balding. Its definetly brutal too how mentally it effects all of us, and I believe alot of us if we were to start taking it would be far down the road in relation to prostates.
  2. Agreed, tbh I'd love to volunteer as a patient if I was a little older and had the finances to travel haha
  3. I'd hop on finasteride and minoxidil. IF its really aggressive or finasteride doesnt work get on DUT and stay the course. Since you're in the same age bracket as me, a HT perhaps wont be necessary in the future if better/stronger treatments become available (of course thats if they work, most notable could be GT20029, Osteopotin, as well as the thyroid hair growth stimulents).
  4. I agree, I can't really get a HT from a ethical doctor/surgeon due to the fact I'm only 21, and honestly the best I can do right now is just look forward to the future and just research and look up potential future treatments because of it. I believe GT20029 would probably be huge and very beneficial for people that have serious side effects from finasteride and dutasteride, although this is IF it works.
  5. Hey guys, I wanted to honestly ask what you guys think in potential upcoming future hair loss treatments and your opinions and thoughts. So far I'm excited and optimistic about GT20029 results that are expected by april and Osteopotin by Amplifica (the SCUBE3 company) by early summer (June or so). I'm also excited for verteprofin as well as any potential treatment that can revive hair follicles, such as stemson. What are you guys excited about?
  6. None of the hair mills are good enough to really deal with NW7s. Specialists for a NW7 are naturally expensive too, with the best being Dr Zarev in Bulgaria, but he has a wait time of 1-2 years and costs alot of money.
  7. I read that at least 25% of people have a hair shed and have the ugly duckling phase. And the rest is totally dependent, for some it can kick in a few months after the surgery, and it can last for a while. It really just depends.
  8. Have you seen Doctor Saifi and as he commented on anything thus far?
  9. This, I think perhaps bringing not just one but both of them would be great.
  10. +1ing this. It's huge. I just wish Visudyne had a generic or something that was cheap so could be more affordable similar to finasteride. I kinda wonder too with future treatments how effective this can be with VP. Imagining a SCUBE3, VP, GT20029 and/or FIN/DUTA would be massive.
  11. With lack of news probably not viable for humans. As for the mentioned Histogen its a total failure that stopped development in 2021, and RepliCel has been quiet for more then 2/3 years now sadly.
  12. It definetly will be the cure, albeit it will be ridiculously expensive. I think realistically it would be treatments that really make hair loss something of a begin issue that can be easily fixed such as acne or other very minor problems for the everyday person.
  13. Agreed, I do wonder though if SCUBE3 is the closest? Apparently from what I read they used the drug on transplanted dormant/"dead" hair folliciles in a mouse and they successfully started to grow. Compared to other treatments it feels like this is the closest drug/hair growth stimulant that can probably save alot of people hair, or at the very least save a decent chunk of money on HT's if you either start early enough in hair loss (1-3 years) or later on in regaining some lost ground.
  14. Understood, currently that's what I'm doing and I'm honestly hoping to get a general consultation to have a gameplan for the future. Right now currently on 1mg finasteride as well as ketoconazole shampoo for dermitits but its doing wonders for my hair. I'm consdiering oral minoxidil but I'm extremely uncertain and anxious with its cardiocascular effects.
  15. Oh right I forgot to mention im planning on doing so within a few years, probably when I'm 23. I'm a norwood 2/3.
  16. Hello, I'm a 21 y/o male that lives in the US, and I typically fly to poland every other year on vacation and to help with family and I was hoping to get some advice on potential decent (tho affordable) hair traplsnat clinics in the EU. I'm mostly looking for surgeons/doctors in poland but I'm also wondering if there are any in Germany, Belgium, UK, as well as other locations, but I'm pretty stumped. Does anyone have any suggestions?
