I've been told to get on med first to see if I can handle it. Have any of the Doctors prescribed Propecia for you yet? I'm new to all this site and investigating HT, so can someone explain why being young makes someone not an appropriate candidate. I understand that the obvious is that too much balding will occur in the future and it wouldn't look natural as more balding occurs. Are there any other reasons?

I wonder if they're scabs rather than white heads. I saw someone else's post discussing scabs which is what made me think this. Congrats on the transplant.

Thanks. But you've heard this pain is temporary, normal and goes away and that I'm not beginning to have one of the awful side effects that I've read about.

Thanks for responding--only in a place like this do people understand how upsetting it is to be going bald. I want it to work so badly and be able to stop the progression. Ive been so afraid of starting on it after reading so many fearful things about the med and finally just did it before losing more and more hair. It seems to be getting worst more rapidly.

I've just started taking Propecia. I feel some pain in my testicles. Is this normal when starting or is there something wrong? Should I stop or continue on? Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what did you do?
