  1. Yep to both questions. Only problem I have at the moment is I haven't got back into my usual role at work yet so can't book any time off. Achilles injuries are a nightmare if your job is physical
  2. Great side by side there I think I'm probably 95% there, obviously not including the part still to be done. What I noticed from month 5-9 was thickening, the colour getting stronger, and any areas that didn't come through fully caught up. Unfortunately now I'm wearing hats because it's come through so well it's very obvious at the back
  3. 9 months 3 weeks straight after a hair cut. I took it to a zero from the areas in front of the donar areas then asked then to take it to a 2 with a fade where the donar area starts. When OP 2 happens I think I could go for a Mullet because they don't take hair from that zone. At the moment I think a number 2 is best for the donar area
  4. I'm going to do an update for this soon. After 5 months my obsessive focus on the hair shifted from my hair to an achilles Injury that kept me isolated and off work for most of the last 6 months. I took Finasteride at the start to try and help it come through with minoxidil once most the hairs had started. But I stopped as I felt it was unnecessary for the stage of norwood I was up too "what hair was I protecting". Side effects for Finasteride I think weren't worth it for what it provides on a norwood 6. Psychological effects that made it impossible to feel dopinmine. Made me completely flat, it took roughly 1 1/2 months to get mentally back to normal again after stopping Finasteride. I haven't taken any new photos yet but will soon I'll be at 10 months on 25/5. My result for first part looks like a good result. I haven't booked operation 2 yet as I only got back to work this week. Hopefully Operation 2 will happen around September
  5. Month 5 not nearly as drastic a change as month 3 and 4. In natural cloudy lighting it looks okay harsh lighting from above not yet. We can see different rates that it started to grow in different areas my front left (your right) it's came through really strong really early, immediately behind seems to be the most patchy area. After doing lots of research the back for absolutely everyone comes through later than the front. Front right (your left) some hairs only just started coming through in the last week so it'll lag behind but this is still perhaps better than average for month 5. I'm just hoping this isn't it if I'm early, because some areas haven't come through much for it to be the end product. At the moment it looks like the balding but not yet there look where I had the op. Obviously at the back it looks unnatural because it hasn't been done....... yet!!
  6. For me redness only started going away about 2 months in by 4th month it was mostly gone
  7. Bring an umbrella and get an empty 100ml spray bottle
  8. Yea I'm thinking for month 4 I'm ahead of what's normal. 2 1/2 months was worst point then I saw a radical change during month 3 where the colour started coming through. Its growing at all different speeds at the moment and I'm still seeing new hairs Sprouting each day. At 6 months I'd like shave it all off to let it all grow back at a more consistent rate but I'm in 2 minds at the moment
  9. 1 younger pre-hair loss photo of me at 23 I don't expect to get anywhere near this and the hairline I've gone for is a good 10mm-15mm higher than my original line which I wanted due to how far gone I was
  10. Just trying to experiment with how short I can have it on the donar area, I'm finding number 1 looks bad but as it grows in you can't tell at all. Still kind've hoping the donar area improves which it can as I'm less than 5 months in
  11. 950 single 2250 double 1150 multiple Thought I'd post something been a bit of a forum lurker for a while now. Had FUE at Yaman Surgery Istanbul 25/7/23 4350 grafts in total I was around a norwood 6 with slight expanded crown 2nd HT to be planned after 9 months. I'm 4 months 2 weeks post op. Pre op photos below
  12. I had the same concerns about donar area at around 1 month definitely thought it looked over harvested. Now at the 3 month 1 week mark and donar area looks significantly better than it did at 1 month. But I'm still hoping it will get better Went with Yaman in july. 1 1/2 months to 2 1/2 months is definitely the worst part lots will go through your mind because it will get bad. Wait it out 2 1/2 months in things started really drastically improving donar and recipient area especially after getting a cut to even things out
