  1. Thanks! My revision was not quite 5 months ago.
  2. Yes I am still undergoing SMP treatment! The scar still needs camouflage work but in the next 6-9 months I expect to be in great shape.
  3. I have not, what product do you recommend?
  4. It’s been 4 months since my scar revision with Dr. Hasson and it’s sooo much better. It wasn’t cheap but totally worth it. For anybody interested in a scar revision, go to Dr. Hasson. You won’t be disappointed!
  5. I am trying to complete my SMP look but my scar is still red from scar revision surgery at Hasson and Wong. Anybody have suggestions on how to speed up the process of the scar being red and turning white so I can finish SMP on the scar? it doesn’t appear red in pictures but it is!
  6. Is the scar ready for SMP? Anxious to get it camouflaged, thanks in advance!
  7. Does this scar look ready for SMP? Why or why not? Very anxious to get it done!
  8. Thank you! I’ve done SMP for many years and unless the scar is totally flat it’s not ultimately going to get to a place of comfort. I also have to wait for the scar to become white so it may take time! I do appreciate the feedback, Gabel is definitely on my short list of surgeons to consult.
  9. I am 39, I am prone to over healing so I am hesitant to do only a revision without an FUE/FUT to hedge my bets. If the scar revision doesn't work, oh well I go back to a head of hair.
  10. Totally agree, that is why I am hesitant certainly. It feels to me though Dr. Hasson isn't in the business of making promises just to get your money. He is one of the top surgeons in the world correct? I agree with you it is a leap of faith, but at the end of the day, we are trusting a surgeon to provide us a result we are happy with.
  11. I just made an appointment with Hasson and Wong for 11/1 to do a scar revision. It is quite pricey but they basically assured me guaranteed results for a scar revision. I would be meeting with Dr. Hasson for the procedure. Should I be optimistic? It feels like this may be another failed attempt but he personally guaranteed much much better improvements.
  12. Can I pay for a consult to you or anybody else with experience on what to think about for my situation?
  13. As a newbie to the due diligence process, I have so many questions I am hoping somebody can help guide me with. 1) What Norwood level do I appear to be? 2) To get an initial look I would be happy with (full coverage of scar and some hair up front), would 5000 grafts be enough? 3) Can I get this done for $10 K or less in USA/Canada with a top surgeon? If so, who? If not, where would I look? 4) If I don't have enough donor supply, I do have plenty of beard and body hair. Who does surgeries using hair other than from the head? Some of the top surgeons say they don't use hair outside of the head. I don't believe I am able to send private messages, but would PAY for a consult from somebody experienced on here. Thank you!
  14. Looks like I cannot PM but I figured I would ask your opinion on my scar. It is 6 months old from a revision, not happy with it and looking at doctors (including Dr. Gabel) to help. Your thoughts in general? I know people are saying wait, but the scar makes me very uncomfortable to be out in public.
