@Hardigity Do you have an update for us?

If you don't mind me asking, how many grafts did you get and was it FUT or FUE? Did you do the PRP, and if so do you recommend it based on your results?

After reading comments here I've decided to go with Dr. Arocha's. They said they could fit me in as early as next week, and that 5 days would be long enough to be off of minoxidil -- I've seen the rule of thumb is usually 2 weeks or longer. Will this be an issue?

I am looking to get a FUT hair transplant (around 2500-2800 grafts) in Texas and have recently been looking at Dr. Arocha in Houston and Dr. McGrath in Austin. Browsing this board, it seems like Arocha has a decent reputation, but most of the posts are from someone who works for him. With McGrath, there's much less anecdotal information here, and a few of his results seem less than stellar. It's very difficult to put much stake in Google and Yelp reviews, so I'm not sure which surgeon is better for me. Traveling outside of TX is unfortunately not an option for me.
