  1. I have been having trouble when I shower the last few times. I have noticed that I have lost a big glob of hair each time. I am using Nizoral 2 times a week and Free and Clear shampoo the rest. This is a Mild Shampoo. I know it may sound silly to worry about the hair I'm losing after I shower. But, I rarely lost hair that much in the shower, only when I first starting losing my hair. I have been on Propecia for 6 weeks(since the HT). And have been rogaining the back of my head. I just want the loss to be less progessive.

  3. I had my procedure done on July 29th, and I am very near to 6 weeks post op. Currently, I am using Nizoral shampoo 2-3 times a week, as recommended by Dr Tessler. I've been on Propecia since the HT and on rogaine for about 2 weeks. Which shampoo should I use on the days that I use Nizoral. Dr. Tessler said I can use any shampoo now. I have been using Free and Clear Shampoo because it doesnt contain many chemicals. I was thinking of Vive for Men or the Rogaine Shampoo. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should use that would be best for my hair? Also, should one shampoo daily? I've heard before taht shampooing daily can damage hair? Thanks, any feedback would be great.

  4. Lol Thanks guys, ya I guess I was panicking a bit. Hopefully all goes well in about 4 months. I was just scared taht my donor area would keep receding until it became bald. I think I will use Rogaine on that area. I bought some yesterday. I also bought some Nizoral shampoo and Free and Clear Shampoo from the drugstore. Nizoral i will only use 2-3 times a week. I like the mild shampoo because it doesnt contain as many chemicals as other shampoos.

  5. I just had a HT a month ago, and I am experiening hair loss in the donor area. It seems like it just sheds near the donor area. Will this go on forever? It is a scary thought, because like danger, I've had thick donor area hair before the HT, and hope it comes back also. =( I have been using propecia since the HT. I just pray that it won't be permanent loss at the back of my head, I don't want to be bald there.

  6. I just had a hair transplant with Dr. Tessler in Southfield, MI. It was about a month ago, and to me it seems like my hair is falling out quicker now. Especially near the scar. Overall it seems to be going quicker and falling out easier and not just near the transplanted hair. I don't know the cause of this. What actions can I take to stop this? I have been on Propecia since the procedure. Im using Pert Plus shampoo, and the nurse at Dr. Tesslers clinic told me that Pert plus wouldn't cause problems. I'm not really sure what to do. Does anyone have any advice or similar experience to share that may be of help?
