Yeah I wanted to show everyone what it looks like in very harsh lighting and wet hair. I’m still happy with the outcome. I know it’s never gonna be like when I was 20 but still way better then where I was. I’ve been on fin (.5mg every 2nd day) for 2 years. It’s help slow the hair loss right down. But I have a feeling I might have to do my crown in the coming years.

Ok it’s been 29 weeks or 206 days since my procedure. I don’t think a lot has change since my last post about 5 weeks ago. I think I have 90-95% of the numbness gone now. I’m very happy with the outcome so far. Since the front has come in I notice the crown hair loss a lot more now, Might have to go back and get that done now. I can’t do the doner shorter then 1&1/2 otherwise you can notice the scars. This is 5days after a cut. The last photos are not damp but wet hair directly under heat lamps so that’s as harsh lighting as you can get. This is the true test. Let me know what you guys think? (sorry about the upside done photos they are normal on my phone but upside down on here 🤷🏻♂️)

I don’t think I need to do much maybe 4/5 hairs would the sharpness out. I won’t do it now, maybe around month 10 when most of its grown in 🤞

I was the same as you, I went for a few consultations in Aus as I didn’t want to travel abroad. Then I wanted to go to Turkey (as that’s what people do). I realised there are many more better drs out there. Don’t be afraid to travel. Pick 2 or 3 drs and research the s*it out of them. Best advice I can give, If your worried about after care, stay there longer (10days or so). That way you can go back if you have concerns. Also there’s also emails and video calls after that.

It’s coming up nicely. I’ve got one side that is more sharp and one more rounded too. I like the more rounded look and was thinking about plucking the sharper side as well.

I was going to update next week which was going to be 5months but I’ll do it now since requested. so it been 20 weeks since my HT. Still have some slight numbness in some spots. My dandruff is still around, been using Nizoral 1% twice a week. And still using baby shampoo for daily wash. Has the side cut last week with a number 1 - 1 1/2. Anything shorter I can see the donar scars. Might have to look at SMP as l like to have it short on the sides. Happy with the results so far. A lot more confident to not wear a hat all the time.

Your donor looks great!!! Can’t even tell you had anything done -
I hope so, Still feels like it’s gonna take forever to see some more results. Your hairline is filling very well. Did you end up getting a cut? In your thread you mentioned your shock loss near your ear is more pro-dominant in the left side. Cause my left side is a lot more thin in the same area. My theory is I tend to favour that side when I sleep. How about you? Yeah I really thought it would have gone by now but still numb. It’s sure taking its time. thank you. Happy growing to you too.

So at the 12 week mark. A lot of the read/pinkness has gone. Still have some numbness in the mid scalp. Really thought it would have gone by now. Last 2 weeks started to get some dandruff and itchy scalp, don’t know what from as I hadn’t changed my shampoo. Been wearing a hat for longer periods, might be that. But this week I switched to a different brand baby shampoo and I think it’s helped. I think I'm starting to see some growth (very minimal) or it could be that my hair is growing longer as I’ve just been trying to keep it short. You guys can be the judge.

you will feel all kinds of things, sharp, dull, pressure, headaches and general discomfort for the first 2-3 weeks. You have had 4000 holes drilled in your head and then another 4000 cuts on the top. It’s surgery, so it will take a few weeks to recover. That’s why I don’t know how people go back to work after a few days, I guess everyone recovers differently. I sure didn’t.
