  1. If you're living in LA.. my recommendation is to have the procedure done there. Try to avoid getting on a plane.
  2. Paid in cash final day of surgery. They only required a flight booking to reserve the dates for you. Honestly.. I feel the same. I really appreciate his heart on doing the best for patients, and giving them his 100% effort. But I think 2 days should be a maximum for anyone undergoing a hair transplant. And I agree 600 grafts a day is super slow.
  3. Dr Dorin would. be my first choice. But I think he is. pricey
  4. Hey There, I see there has not been updates in years. Could you please share your expertise? Did anything work? What are you on now
  5. Thanks for the encouragement, I am really miserable with the side effects. The Dr asked me to start using Biotin for 3 months, and use topical Minoxidil for life.
  6. I am a 26 year old who flew from New Hampshire to Ankara for a hair transplant. I arrived on the 11th of June and was scheduled to start the procedure on the 12th and end on the 15th. The plan was to have 2000 Hairs transplanted. I am not on minoxidil or finasteride and I do not think I want to get started taking them now.. May wait until I am 30 years old. The clinic provided the ride to and from the airport. The agreement was 3.5 euros per graft. The translator Fatih picked me up from my hotel around 10 am and walked me to the clinic since it was a 5 minute walk. I met the team and Dr Keser, and we sat down and drew the hairline. The plan was to create a hair line as drawn and densify the upper-mid area. we were planing on having 2000-2200 grafts implanted. Day 1 (12th of June): Everything went good.. Dr Keser extracted 600 grafts and started transplanting my right side. I bled more than usual and was told we would go a bit slower than most patients. The worst part for me was the anestetic, it was extremely painful. But after getting numb I was good to go. Day 2 (13th of June): 600 grafts were extracted and transplanted in my middle part. Again I was in extreme pain from the anestetic, I think I have a high sensitive scalp because it was truly extreme. Everything was good regarding the transplantation I was just so drained after the procedure. The frontal area is much more sensitive and hence would be a bit more painful. Day 3 (14th of June): 500 grafts extracted. The plan was to have 600 grafts to finish the hairline and start densifying the upper mid area. on around 200 grafts being extracted, I decided to not densify my upper area and informed Dr Keser to just complete the hairline and be done. I decided to quit Day 4, I felt like I could not handle an extra day. Dr keser said he would extract 500 and stop. Note to mention: I had 20 hairs transplanted in my eyebrows to cover bald spots. 12 on my left brow and 7-8 on my right. Day 4 (15th of June): Dr Keser and the team removed the gauze and bandages and gave me instructions on after care. My right eye got swollen shut, should disappate in a few days. I am staying for 2 more days. My flight back is on the 18th. Hope everything goes great.
