Day 7 + No blood + no pain = Lost hair ≠ Lost Folicle.

I freaked out at day 11 for aparently blowing up a pimple but didnt lose any hairs then I obsessed over the area and monitored the grafts close to it till death and they staid till shedding 1 week later.

I know the first few days post op are a bit stressfull but try to not stress over too much and if there is something that draws your concearn just text the clinic.

Plus I had some of those on ocasion, its just the hair but the root is perfectly safe.

Ok sounds good I’ll try to stay stress free

    @Youth_Again,

At seven days postop, the newly transplanted follicles are deeply rooted underneath the surface of the scalp and could not be dislodged without surgery. Therefore, what you are seeing is likely just the hair shaft along with a scab and not the root of the follicle.  Patients who lose newly transplanted grafts typically experience pain and blood in the area where the graft was dislodged and this what only be in the first couple of days anyway. Like I said at seven days postop, it would be almost impossible to lose a graft without undergoing surgery.

    I hope this helps.

Awesome, thanks for the clear answer 🙏

Do you mind sharing the experience you receiving during operation and was it actually Dr Couto that done the transplant and did you feel the price was fair in comparison to other

My overall experience was really good, he was highly involved in the procedure, I would say 80% of the work was done by him in terms of implantation, since I had a lot of temporal and frontal hairline to get done.

I think the price I paid is fair in terms of service, it was done over 3 days. The scars looked amazing since day one. I cannot compare with others since I only went with him but I would really recommend him, he is very passionate about his work and you can feel it, every patient is important to him

So long story short . Been using fin for 10 years, had no sides that can be spotted, but after years of use my life came to a point where i start to had episodes of depression, which led me to use of prozac . Another thing is a brain fog.  Not sure when it started since its not just hit you at once, but over time my life become just trash : lack of energy, no motivation, i have memory problems  and so on. Basically you dont live a full life, started to feel myself like im an empty shell with no soul .. So i dropped it like half a year ago. ATM its hard to say if im becoming who i was before fin , but i hope that it will happen . Just a thought for everyone who is using it  , those sides didnt hit me in one day, there were creeping little by little over the years .

If some of you have questions, feel free. I will do my best to answer

I think I feel you, I feel like after 3 years of using it I am less strong mentally than I used to, went over a breakup and kinda went through depression whereas before I would get over things faster.
idk if this had an impact or not

    The design looks wonderful.
How much did you pay for the PRP session? Would you do more PRP during the coming months?

    Thanks 🙏
    300€

Unfortunately I am not sure, being located in Canada it’s quite far for me. I’ll try to find a clinic that does the specific PRP Dr.Couto explained to me

  6. Hi guys,

after so many years of research and also so many of dreaming about finally doing a HT, the day has come.

I am less than 48h post surgery but I am too excited not to share with you, 2600 grafts have been done over the course of 3 days, 1000 grafts day 1, same on day 2 and then the remaining on day 3.

i also had PRP treatment on day 3.
my head is quite swollen at the moment and it feels quite heavy.

here are some pictures pre op, and some post op.

Hello. I saved up annual leave for a year and a half so I’ve taken off January to April. I couldn’t have possibly gone back to work currently but I am mid ugly duckling stage. I have PRP booked in for April. I’m currently taking fin/Minox/biotin just to speed up the process. I use rose masqueda oil to help the redness.

Did you go back to Dr.Couto clinic for the PRP or you did it in London ?

That's fine. The brand you buy is actually from Thailand so it's not like you are getting it made anywhere in the west but if that gives you more peace of mind more power for you. I just got from ADC since i found it quite cheaper for 6 months supply.

I know, I would rather get the real deal but I can't get it in Canada so I have to go that route sadly. Price is not in consideration here for me

  9. Little update on my side :

Pump not as crazy as it used to be, I think my body was just getting used to it and getting all that extra blood in my vessels was giving my huge pumps.

After 1 month of use I started to feel dizzy, this happened for almost 5 days straight, feeling super dizzy and tired, and slowly disappeared, now I am almost completely fine, back to normal.
