  1. It could be shockloss—which could take months to recover, OR it could be over-harvesting. We can better analyze if you have any post-HT photos that were taken immediately after the surgery showing the extraction wounds.
  2. All looks normal. It is also normal to start shedding and/or shock loss as early as in two weeks. In my opinion, it is better to just let your head heal naturally rather than using products (even if the label says natural) so soon after HT. Always seek approval from your doctor before putting anything on your hair, especially during the initial phase after the surgery. Sometimes trying to “help” or “speed up” things actually makes it worse.
  3. They could have better utilized/managed the donor area. Rather than taking hair from a concentrated area in a square region, they should have used a wider area from sides and back. How many grafts were extracted? I am sure things will improve once you recover from shock loss on the donor region…but still…I don’t like how they managed the donor here.
  4. There is “some” growth but not enough to give illusion of density that one would expect. I saw your before HT photos and also immediately post HT, and feel that grafts were too spaced out to begin with. When the grafts are so spaced out and covering large area, you are not going to get the results even if all hair grow. What is the clinic saying? There’s very little chance anything will improve from here. You will need another HT to fill in the top of your head with more density. But you need to go see one of the recommended doctors on this forum.
  5. @Melvin- Admin - Exactly, the smaller head size was also the first thing Dr. Pittela mentioned was a good thing in my case…al though, i feel it also means smaller donor.. Correct, i did not fully shed. I do take minoxidil and fin daily. Other than that, just b12 and vitamind for other reasons. Took biotin for a couple weeks but then didn’t continue.
  6. @Melvin- Admin - yes, the precise scale was 7.35. Attaching a photo taken of the scan. @mtb - good luck to your brother. Here are couple of photos at 3 months and few days. I guess…still a lot of growth to come but things look promising.
  7. I had briefly discussed it with doc but we had agreed that it wouldn’t be noticeable after some hair growth. In fact, it is pretty much no visible now. I will post aome pictures soon. I did not know which way i was going to comb my hair. My native hair have always been growing strangely in different directions. I had discussed with doc and plan was to design in a manner that is not too restrictive. There is a minor swirl but it is not very obvious from the picture.
  8. All the very best!! Looking forward to following your journey!
  9. Maybe around 700-800 each side—so around 1400-1600 total…i would guess.
  10. I am at 3 months post-op and I still have some numbness. It has definitely gotten better compared to how it was immediately after the surgery. Per my doc, it could take about 6 months or so for all the nerves to heal and numbness to go away. At around 3 months post-op i feel i have 50% numbness issue resolved…so expecting it to be 100% at 6 months mark…but then…everyone is different. In any case, definitely speak with your doctor, especially, if there is no improvement in 4 months.
  11. I think a software like this was long due. It promotes transparency and also combines technology with skills and experience to create optimal design/plan for each individual. Remember, just like every new app/technology, there will be upgrades/improvements.
  12. He avoided the mustache and chin just in case i wanted to keep goatee. I don’t know the exact count taken from cheek vs. neck, but here is a photo day after the surgery showing marks on the cheek. It was same on both sides.
  13. Sure, posting some before/after pics here. I usually don’t keep beard, but when I do, it is not more than 2 weeks. So the photos are limited to growth period from 2 days to 2 weeks post shaving. Note: total 5.5k grafts taken from beard (neck and cheeks).
  14. Very interesting. I wonder why most HT surgeons don’t spend much time in actually examining the scalp and/or “requiring” certain tests be conducted to rule out such issues.
  15. It’s been 2 months since my HT and the numbness is 50% gone but per my doctor it will take few more months to get to 100%. It’s normal…since all the nerves are healing.
  16. Thank you. Correct, i think a lot of the grafts never shed. Not sure if that is common.
  17. DAY-60 Update: Things seem to be progressing well. Please feel free to comment/provide feedback.
  18. For only 2500 grafts this is definitely a good result.
  19. Strong result! Are you also on Finasteride and/or minoxidil? I wouldn’t be surprised if this result is the combination of both—HT+Meds.
  20. Eugenix offers various packages as you mentioned, and there are plenty of good results for NW 6/7 from their top tier doctors. I understand you are looking for doctors only in India. Remember that no clinic has 100% results and so I recommend that you go through list of all recommended doctors on this forum. Check their results, know their prices against your budget, and consult with them.
