well I just dug into videos where I look through my density and I've lost a lot of ground since getting off oral fin 4/23, the decline started being evident amount late September/ early October even though I started xyon dut 5/23, granted I did a build up to get the 3x daily starting in July. Might hop back on oral fin, my density was pretty good, sucks but everyone is different guys , it might juts not be for me. Hoping I can recover lost ground.

Are u using it at night ? do u also use minoxidil ? do you separate the times you do each ?

On fin, lower libido, still able to perform but noticeably weaker erections, and it would take while to get going. Not the end of the world but def unwanted sides.

3 months sounds about right to notice the difference. Ur on 1mg daily fin ?

were you using xeon daily ? how long have you been back on fin? what dose and frequency ?

1- mostly fear around sides 2- not wanting to use the day before or after microneedling 3- really don't like how my hair looks with it on (are you using at night even tho instructions say not to ?) 4- will for sure at least add 1 more day and aim to get u to 5x weekly

How's everyone doing result wise? I feel like im losing ground using topical dut 3x weekly. Still on daily minox and once weekly microneedling , my best results were on oral fin .33mg 3x daily plus minox/microneedling, but had sides. So far with xyon topical dut no noticeable sides. so frustrating considering going back to oral fin maybe .25mg, really wish you could get a fin pill at a lower dose instead of cutting because its highly in accurate.

Expiration is now 6 month not 3?

quick update, and to be clear this is more or a trial and error situation. I will be taking a break from topical dut due to extremely dry eyes leading to vision issues. Unfortunately I don't know what to attribute it to and have to consider anything recent that can be the cause. The one thing for sure is that if it is the topical dut, it would not be a nocebo effect as eye health was not ever on my radar, only the sexual side effects of these meds. Again, and not to be overly repetitive but as of now I am NOT attributing to Xyon but have to be sure as vision is not something I want to mess with. Will be also scheduling a full eye exam.

I wrote up few comments back where my dht levels were on average based on what treatment I was on if you want to check it out. Didn't mean to crop the pic the way I did but here is reference for those values: 28- home made topical fin, .33mg 3 times weekly 15- .25mg oral fin 3 times weekly 50 - Xyon topical dut 1 time weekly 38- Xyon topical dut 3 times weekly (still better than the home made topical fin )

Update- I ramped up to twice weekly, then 3x weekly and tested my DHT. This time it did show a drop. If we look at my previous test that came in at 50 and compare it to this test that came in at 38, its about a 24% drop. I think for now that's where I am comfortable and will remain for the foreseeable future, 3x weekly. Now for some who say, well guess topical dut does go systemic, I think its well understood all topicals do, its just the matter of how much. Also there is the topic of the metabolites created by the liver of oral medications which could cause problems, that are avoided by doing topical, which is a whole other rabbit hole I don't want to dive into. As for sides, nothing stands out, I have been getting very dry eyes lately and if you chase online possible connections. you will find them lol. It might be the heat we are experiencing and excessive use of the ceiling fan/ac. Regardless, will monitor it. The next issue will be efficacy, I am a bit concerned that my slight widows peak area is looking more see through. Its also lost some of it softness, meaning I think I've shed some of the thinner hairs and only the very thick ones have remained. Im hoping this is the good shed with stronger hairs on the horizon. That is all for now.

Are you ever concerned about the whole getting on a pillow and transferring to your significant other ? I saw in prescribing instructions to apply in AM, but then its only on scalp for roughly 12 hours hours before I shower, also I sauna often around 5/6pm and the sweating could be an issue. Considering switching to PM application but don't want it to cause any issues for my wife, plus she sometimes randomly touches my head when we are in bed.

not yet, been on 3x weekly since 7/2. I might schedule something for end of this week/early next week to test again

3 weeks, once per week too soon to see any results. my #1 concern was safety at this point and so far I am impressed with their tech that keeps the dut from going systemic. As I mentioned even at home topical fin dropped my dht levels pretty significantly.

Yup, I was concerned about the % of dutasteride so was pleasantly surprised with results. I will def do at least one more test and post here in a few weeks to find out if higher frequency or I might even start doing lil more than 1 pump per application as I am a diffuse thinner and spreading out 1 pump is though, and see if that makes a difference in results.

Pretty standard stuff, lower libido weaker erections, nothing that kept me from performing but still never ideal. And never liked the idea of long term dht suppression. Also mental health, I've always associated higher levels of anxiety and depressive stretches when on fin, tho again this is subjective.

Hey guys, amazing news, Ive been on Xyon top for 3 weeks applying just once a week, 1 pump. I did DHT test, and the results were really good to see. They came back and 50 ng/dl which is pretty high on the range and for me, I have not had these results since I've been on any finasteride, oral or topical. Here are some results over the years, anytime I am on oral (only .25mg 3x weekly) my DHT tanks to around 15-18 ng/dl. When ever I switch to home made topical with stemoxodine (usually .33-.50mg/ml also 3x weekly) my serum DHT still drops from 23-28ng/dl. I never did a baseline prior to starting any meds but on the 2nd photo are results when I have been off all finasteride oral or topical. So a result of 50 on topical dut is almost hard to believe, I was soo surprised! So with that said I will bump it up to 2x weekly for a couple weeks and prob settle at 3x weekly before testing again. No sides so far.

Why is morning preferred? if you use minox foam in the morning as well, how do you space them out? @Melvin- Moderator do you use in am ? and if so what's your process with minox application? Does it affect the look of you hair ?

Well I went ahead and ordered my 3 month bottle. There's currently a 50% off sale so why not I guess. Couple things to keep in mind for anyone else interested: - 90ml bottle is currently their only option, equivalent of 3 month supply. - They wont adjust the %. I was told 2% is the ONLY option. I have done extensive blood work on and off oral and topical finasteride (DIY version) for years now so I have solid historical numbers. I will still get another baseline DHT test before 1st application of topical dut. and will do 1 month of once weekly application and then retest. I will keep you guys posted. Best of luck to all.

Thanks, they might have changed things recently. The bottle is 90ml for 3 months, and it would renew again after those 3 months. I will prob still give it a shot and maybe extend that bottle out longer and hope it does not lose efficacy. Ive read other topical duts have a shelf life of at least 6 months.

Just got a response back, they are only offering a 3 month subscription, where they will send 1 bottle that will last you 3 month, also stating that the "beyond use date " is only those 180 days. Kinda sucks they don't have a 1 month bottle option that you can extend the 3 months based on use. Seems pretty intentional to keep you from doing that. The 3 month subscription is currently $387, I wonder if I can extend that 1 bottle to 4-6 months, anyone know the true shelf life if I keep the bottle refrigerated ? also what's the lowest % they offer ? can you request a low dose since I am diffuse the thinner I would have to probably use 2ml. They would not answer that in the email and only saying that was up to derm to decide.

I was under the assumption it was subscription only, though I am not sure that's why I as asking @Melvin- Moderator if they had the option to just do bottle orders as needed. Ive sent them an email asking this as well.

This is the part I am unsure of going with Xyon's, monthly/quarterly subscriptions. I would like to do the same where I know a bottle will last me a lot more than a month. Do you know if they can accommodate holding off shipment until you are ready for next bottle? I don't see this info anywhere on their page.
