I've come across a leading clinic that provides the patient a Liposomal ATP spray to use post-op claiming it can help the grafts survive immediately after the surgery. How important is this and why do some clinics not give it out? I feel that poor growth yield may be due to grafts dying soon after post-op

The brand called 100% PURE but it's quite expensive. They do have legit sales once in a while though

What I like to do is fill up a cap with the foam and then melt it with heat until it turns liquid. Then I use a dropper to apply and gently rub in. I just feel it absorbs better that way. I apply 2x a day

I have the same question as OP. I'm 7.5 months post op HT crown only which grows very slow. I started topical minoxidil 2 weeks ago

If there are at least minimal signs of growth after a hair transplant in the area that was microneedled, can we be confident that microneedling didn't have any negative effects? Or, might the HT results be better had one not microneedled at all?

My front is good. It's just the crown that needed work. I'm 34 and managed to keep the front very well. The crown started to thin in my early 20s. I feel like I'd might want to add more to the crown but I've already had 2,000 grafts (dense pack) put in the crown at my first procedure. I'm not sure how many more grafts I should add to the crown if I might lose hair in the front

Thanks for the encouraging words. I still have hope. I'm likely going to start topical minoxidil to try and speed things up. I also do scalp massages as well

This is my first. According to my surgeon 6 months is very early for the crown and the follicles just begin to really wake up. I'm going to see my surgeon again sometime this year to be evaluated. I just don't understand how it takes this long. You would think 6 months is plenty enough time and that at 6 months you would be able to gauge the success of the HT

Well there are hairs that have definitely sprouted but it's very little. I was expecting a lot more by now. To the naked eye I'd day approx 30% And this was clinic was in NY not NYC

I had a crown FUT done by a very reputable NYC clinic. I do notice some growth but it's very little and I'm starting to feel very discouraged. It's already been 7 months and I think to myself how much better is my hair really going to get? I know they say it can take up to a year or more but I just feel nothing more will happen. Basically I still see lots of scalp and it's very see through and doesn't look significantly better at all really. Definitely not worth the price I paid at all at this point. I've been on finasteride for over 2 years and still on it Should I start using topical minoxidil to try and speed up growth? Will the transplanted hairs go through a phase of falling out due to the minoxidil again?

Getting hit by an airplane would also be pretty bad. So be on the lookout for that too.

I wouldn't do any form of microneedling whether it's a pen or roller. Why risk scarring the scalp? I'm curious though about those who did microneedling and had a successful hair transplant

I'm thinking it's possible that the technicians maybe didn't place the grafts according to plan. Maybe it's more of the technicians failure to follow directions from Dr. Bloxham. I doubt it though because his clinic uses experienced techs under close supervision supposedly. Have you noticed anything strange or eccentric about the techs behavior during your procedure?
