  1. This is an extremely impressive result. I was wondering about my options too Do you have these results under more harsh lighting? Also, are you able to share where you got your SMP work done?
  2. Bump! I was hoping a senior member would respond Appreciate your comments
  3. I had a similar experience too, I had a few thinning areas near mid-scalp and the crown which I wanted to address. Both surgeons I consulted recommended it would make sense to rely on Fin and Minox at this stage than risk potential shock loss. However, I regularly see cases such as mine getting grafts placed on thinning areas alongside already existing hair. Does this just come down to specific surgeons and their preferences? Or, are some patients more prone to shock loss than others? I am interested to learn more on this topic too
  4. Hello Without running the risk of hampering growth, damaging the recipient grafts or inhibiting donor-area recovery, how soon after an FUE can one Use fiber concealers such as Toppik on the recipient Use cream-based / wet concealers such as Dermmatch on the recipient & donor Style using hair styling products (creams, gels etc.) on the recipient & donor Dye the recipient & donor Start using Minoxidil on the recipient & donor Appreciate your comments
  5. Thanks for your responses @Rahal Hair TransplantThanks, let me reach out if I have further questions
  6. Hello there, I had a some questions on FUE and strip scar closure Is it common for someone to have a normal FUE surgery for their hairline and an FUE into an old strip scar as part of the same procedure? If yes, would the extraction process for the grafts required for the strip scar be any different than the one required for just the hairline? Are there known estimates on how many grafts would an FUE into strip require? BaldEagle
  7. Hi Network – Should one discuss one’s potential future hairstyle choices when planning a procedure? I am not referring to extreme choices such as going from a full head of hair to a crew cut or an extreme low fade, I was just considering subtle variations such as parting styles, a comb back style, something like a quaff maybe, or a professional side part or a pompadour Would a surgeon design the hairline differently if he knows how one would style their hair versus not knowing one’s future style preferences?
  8. Is there a way to add or save bookmarks? I was trying to save topics / posts I like to review later but couldn't find any way to save posts into my profile to go back to BaldEagle
  9. My apologies to the previous poster @tangoman14. I was trying to ask a generic query but somehow my message got posted as a response to his!
  10. I searched the forum and found two good posts that capture good consultation questions. Are there more? I thought it would help if an exhaustive list of critical consultation questions was made available as a pinned post for everyone to benefit from FUE Questions Questions To Ask During Your Consultation BaldEagle
  11. @Melvin- Moderator I was looking for a list of questions one could ask a clinic before taking the plunge. For instance, things like number of grafts, donor availability, punch sizes, density of the recipient, extraction strategy, hairline design, plans considering future hair loss, post-surgery care etc. BaldEagle
  12. Hello, I was on this community a long time back and I have lost all bookmarks I had saved for later review. I remember there was a questionnaire or a group of posts by experts that had all questions one needs to check and be sure about before considering an FUE procedure. Does anyone have something similar? Please share BaldEagle
