  1. Hello @shadow_god,

I can see that growth so far is not the best, by any means do you have a proper picture where you have combed your hair well. I would suggest waiting for another 4-5 months. Hairline zone will surely thicken up.

P.s- I have heard good post care by the clinic, wait for 12 months and see how the results are. The picture below doesn't looks too bad for a results at 7 months, definitely the small dots and density will mature in the coming months.

  2. It doesn't appears to be retrograde otherwise the nape hair are the first one usually to go. I think Eugenix does use loupes with 6/8 magnification and are known for donor management. @DeltaV, don't let negativity take over your mind, I am pretty much sure that in the coming 3-4 months you will be a happy man. ovio that 5k+ grafts from the donor will make it sparse, keep it long till you get your full result.

@GeneralNorwood It is good to know the outcome of the meeting. Diffuse thinning cases cannot be graded in NW but I will call you a 4/5A. I agree with the fact that the approach was aggressive, you should have not gone for this high approach at the same time the clinic should have counselled you well on the pros and cons.

What I see here is fantastic results from 1st sitting but there will be a need for 2nd one. Duta 0.5mg, oral/topical minoxidil and continue for it for another 6-8 months. Hope for the best, Eugenix is always supportive towards their patients. I would request other forum members to not to spice up things here and definitely there's no comparison between two world renowned clinics. Both are good and specialized in their fields. Your thoughts changed very much after consulting with Bisanga, you should not have shared this here at the first place, even if you did, I am sure if you tell Dr. Bisanga about the entire case then he wouldn't have said the same thing.
Anyways please dont be oversure by any doc opinions, take care and keep us updated.

Zarev is the best for high Norwoods, no question.

I think Sethi > Bansal, but it's more because Sethi seems more meticulous in planning, imo. I've heard many complaints about the planning being rushed with Bansal, whereas Sethi seemingly takes on less and more bespoke cases.

I would agree with the fact that dr. sethi nature and the way of performing surgery is truly amazing. dr. Zarev doesnt like to share his work with others, he is quite in his own world. still both are star surgeons for higher norwood.

  5. Took me 15-20 minutes to read everything. @Tony711, I think you should have not gone for the surgery, On the contrary, I will appreciate Dr. Sethi and team who agreed to take up your case. (Not many are ready to come out of their comfort zones and take a case like this).

I have seen similar cases like yours and Eugenix has done a great job. @Gatsbyis a prime example. It's not zero growth, hairs have grown back but not good as expectations were set.

I will suggest you connect with Dr. Sethi and ask what the best outcome is now, another HT is not a good idea to me. Cheers to your future, keep us updated on your progress. P.S- SMP is also a good idea pal.

Anyone know who specializes in that and if there are any in the US that are very good?

I'm talking about like chest, leg, are hair etc. More for filling in between gaps.

After seeing the cases of Eugenix, Dr. Sethi is the best in utilizing BHT. You can see the journey of @Gatsby(Truely inspirational) for people like us.

Travelling shouldn't be a big deal, the cost will be cheaper to the docs in USA.
