  1. Yes. Read the whole thread, from beginning to end. This is a multi-state fraud ring run by a complete monster. At the very least watch this. You don't want to cross paths with this guy.
  2. I am supposed to meet up with my old GF late this summer and I thought it would be hilarious and cool to show up with a full head of hair. Grr.
  3. What really pisses me off about this (more so than the wasted money, given that I refused to pay for half of it) is the extreme psychological distress this experience put me through. It took me a month to stop being in denial about what happened to me and finally accept the reality of my situation. This process wasn't exactly fun. And the emotional turmoil was detrimental to a lot of other things I had going on. Now, if the 1500~2000 grafts I did get don't yield, these people are going down. I might do it anyway. I don't appreciate being treated like this.
  4. Dunno about that. One admin encouraged me to expose them over private messages, so there's that.
  5. He has a doctor on staff for his current place, though I never met him. I did see the nurse practitioner on staff, briefly. The doctor's name is Joseph Bush, the NP is Victoria Volz.
  6. Hey thanks for thinking about me! Nice to know I'm not alone in this. I haven't gone after this bunch. Feel like it's not worth the effort, really, and it turns out these guys aren't merely incompetent but honest-to-god scary criminal types. If the grafts actually grow in I'll just move on. If they don't... this clinic is in trouble. I'm leaning toward the theory that they just transected half the grafts they took (without killing the follicles) because my donor is growing back surprisingly thick. I'm on the Rogaine train on top of the finasteride and I always respond really well to both so I'm cautiously optimistic. If they really did lose half the grafts to transection and just had been honest with me about it I wouldn't have had a problem with that at all. They insisted up to the last time I spoke with them that I got all 3800 placed. This is like week 10 so we're still very early in everything. I'll post pictures at the end of February probably.
  7. Don't go by prices alone. There are affordable surgeons with amazing reputations, and there expensive surgeons who are mediocre. That said, for the love of god, don't go cheap for cheap's sake. You might end up like this loser:
  8. Well well well look who filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy reorganization last year! https://unicourt.com/case/pc-bk5-don-stanley-chris-mctyre-and-catherine-m-kerschen-1491243 And here we have our boy getting sued by something called "Last Chance Funding" (LMAO). https://trellis.law/case/36059/600138/2021/last-chance-funding-inc-v-re-grow-inc-llc-d-b-a-re-grow-don-stanley-mctyre-bio-science-hair-colorado-llc-colorado-surgical-hair-center And in addition to the Colorado shenanigans, here's ReGrow's Nevada incorporation, where it is incorporated under you-know-who. https://www.bizapedia.com/nv/re-grow-inc-llc.html
  9. Well guys here's my donor area at the two-month mark. At least they didn't totally butcher it? How's it look to you? Am I on the path to a decent recovery and maybe a repair job? God I hope so.
  10. Found another item. One of McTyre's clinics had an annual revenue of $800K. I wonder how much of that was profit? Probably quite a lot given how bare bones his operation is.
  11. OK here's yet another fun twist. I received a Zelle payment for my ride from the airport with Lyft. This is the "limo service" promised on the website. The payment was from one Catherine Kerschen. I've checked into it and it turns out this person is married to... wait for it... Chris McTyre. Man the fun never ends with this crew.
  12. Oh man tell me about it. I can't imagine how those smooth-talkin' psychopaths would react to this question. Anyway thanks for the reply, very reassuring! I was worried that the ones on the crown aren't shedding because they're, like, dead and the dead hairs are just kind of sitting there in the dead follicles.
  13. Fellas it's been two months since my botched HT and there are two things going on that trouble me. There doesn't same to be any shedding on the crown. The hairs that were in the grafts are still there. Shouldn't they have fallen out by now? The ones in the front did shed. Some parts of the extraction sites are still sore at times, with occasional sharp stinging pain (though nothing severe enough to require analgesic). Is this normal? Kind of worried about these things.
  14. The same person, a surgical tech, did the extractions, scoring, and implanting.
  15. Oh I didn't know they were shady. They seemed really nice and normal when I visited. The tech that did the actual surgery was named Kate, I don't know her last name. She seemed really nice and professional. I had no inkling the work was even bad until a few days later when I posted some pictures to Reddit and even then I didn't believe it. Wasn't fully convinced until I posted here. I didn't know about McTyre until a couple days ago.
  16. There's already a whole thread on this wherein I expose this crew. It's worth reading the whole thing as the story just gets weirder and weirder as it goes on.
  17. Ah OK that would be the nurse practitioner who was there for a while in the morning then. Should I out her here then? I'm pretty effing angry now that I've gotten over my own "but they were my friends!" silliness. Oh and @ciaus there's already a whole thread on this bunch. It's the "say it ain't so" thread started by me in this subforum.
  18. Hey quick question... Is it actually legal in the USA for a hair transplant clinic to not have an actual surgeon on site do anything, and instead all the work is done by a tech? My botch transplant was done by one tech who did the whole thing. There was no actual surgeon or doctor present, though there was a nurse practitioner there in the morning. I've since learned that this is highly anomalous. (I was an uninformed idiot at the time.)
  19. Here's a local news report I found on YouTube about Chris McTyre. Well at least he and Logan Lynch aren't the same person, lol. Given that Lynch and McTyre are both the registered agents for this clinic at the same address (one time the name has the hyphen, the other time it doesn't lol), what seems to be going on here is that Lynch (who was the out-front guy for all my interactions with the clinic) is fronting for McTyre, whose reputation is now so insanely awful that he can't be the face of anything.
  20. What's really awful is that they'll probably just change the name again and reincorporate as they have been doing for like what 10 years? They (well, he, it was always Logan Lynch) said they had been in business for 20. Another fun fact that I forgot to mention: This Logan Lynch person was very keen on me paying cash for the procedure. Gave me 275 grafts "for free" (plan was originally for 3500) if I paid cash, which I did (because I'm a moron). Also I won money at a casino and mentioned it to him a few days after the procedure, and he asked me to bring some of the winnings by to pay toward the rest of the money that I owed. 😐 (That, at least, I did not do. I was like "uh I thought we were doing monthly payments that's my gambling money lol" and he just replied "monthly payments are fine" and never mentioned it again.)
  21. The grafts I did get aren't even going to yield, are they.
  22. The "newer" version of the company uses a hyphen in the "regrow" name, the older one doesn't lol. So I guess they needed a "new" name. If LL turns out to be McTyre operating under an alias (he's used alises before), then that would be hilarious. Yeah, that's the way I see it, too. Actually scamming is part of the thrill of doing it (in other words, the subpar work is on purpose because it's more fun that way). That was literally what I thought until like a couple days ago. These were well-intentioned people who were just incompetent rather than malicious. I never figured they were just psychopaths. Chris McTyre has a criminal fraud conviction, by the way.
  23. My bad, if you skim over my post instead of reading it very carefully it does seem like I'm complaining about the message so that's on me. But no, @GoliGoliGoliis very good people. He's trying to school me on getting fixed up with Dr. Nader. Let us never mention this matter again, and instead focus on the most important issue: we are dealing with an interstate hair transplant fraud ring that has been going on for many years.
  24. Without naming him here, was wondering if anyone (especially McTyre victims) has ever had any dealings with this person? https://www.linkedin.com/in/logan-lynch-49a293229/ That's the guy I dealt with almost exclusively, other than the "surgeon". Here's some fun corporate info for that company. It's on this site twice. One time under this guy, and one under McTyre. https://opengovco.com/business/20211542068 https://opengovco.com/business/20201692484 Oh and here's what "noncompliant" and "delinquent" on that site mean for their businesses in Colorado. https://www.sos.state.co.us/pubs/business/FAQs/status.html https://www.sos.state.co.us/pubs/business/FAQs/delinquency.html Man these guys seem like some real winners. This is actually kind of fascinating. It's like investigating a weird true crime mystery story... starring me! 😐
