Thanks for replying. Did you do fue or fut? After consultation did you have any follow up questions and if so how'd you get a hold of them? I had a consult and then emailed with a couple of Qs but no response. I guess I will have to call, but I'm also not sure yet I'll go with him yet.

I did FUE which is few dollars more per graft but I’m very active and didn’t want to wait on stitches, etc. I did 1 consultation, deposit to lock in surgery date, and then ended up doing 2nd consultation before the procedure to make sure everything would be smooth. If you don’t get reply on first email try a second and phone call is what I did.  I know it can be frustrating and I remember it making me nervous but the day of procedure staff with Dr Haber are very good and I am confident in them as well as Dr Haber who did majority of the procedure himself.

How did yours go? I am considering Dr Haber.

The procedure went very smooth. Haber is highly involved throughout and extremely detail oriented. His staff is with him daily as he does a lot of hair transplants and this is noticeable in how they work efficiently. I don’t regret my decision to go to Haber and felt comfortable knowing a doctor was doing majority of the procedure and not a flown in tech crew from neograft.

After a week my donor area wasn’t very noticeable and felt comfortable in public after 2 weeks with recipient area. I had him fill in my receding hairline and he goes for more of a natural hairline so hoping it all looks good and full in 6-12 months!

  3. I recently had a transplant office offer a laser package and prp package to help healing and growth after hair transplant. The laser package would be sitting under their laser device 2x/week for a month. Prp would be done at time of surgery. Has anyone experience with lasers post transplant and does it help? How about prp? If it reduced redness, speeds up healing, and increased growth cycle I’d be okay with the investment.

There's better Dr's in MICHIGAN. But really you should look for the best in North America, not just locally. Canada has Rahal + Hasson n Wong

Not much good in Michigan :) but seriously if there are names to look into there let me know! I reached out to Nadimi and Panine in Chicago. Open to driving but prefer to have someone closer for cleanings/follow ups just for peace of mind. Idk if post transplant laser sessions or prp truly work but like having someone check the progress/health of grafts consistently.
