  1. @Melvin- Admin that would be great thanks for you great work talking and pushing doctors to try this. what about second @DrTBarghouthi trial, didn't he said he would schedule two trial patients? is there any schedule for next one and what will be different? can include recipient area and see if it reduces redness and shockloss after HT or hair regrowth without HT? also in donor doing bigger areas like half left donor with verteporfin half right donor without would be nice to compare more visual result for patients and if it is worth.
  2. @DrTBarghouthiNew trials are not going to include also injecting verteporfin in recipient area? It will be nice if you can test in recipient area in empty area to see if it promotes growth and in recipient transplanted area after HT to see if it helps with redness/recovery/shock loss reduction
  3. I agree with this comment, many people are waiting and postponing HT waiting on these verteporfin trials results. The new trials were supposed to start 1 year ago and have been postponed so many times.
  4. so do you think verteporfin can also reduce redness in the recipient area after HT? many people have redness in the recipient area for 3-4 months after HT if vert can reduce this redness, better healing and maybe shockless phase after HT that would be another amazing point to use this. I think Dr. Barghouthi said he will include testing in recipient area.
  5. in telegram they are saying Longaker is pending on approval of another product similar to VP for scar/hair, maybe that is why he delayed all calls with @DrTBarghouthi to delay all this until his product get approved. "Longaker has a product (that is not vp). The patient is pending approval (it’s not approved as previously I said). If it gets approved, it will all depend on what Longaker is willing to allow, and also on them marketing and selling the product. It could lead to a situation similar to what’s happening with vp. Of course the product will be way more expensive than vp" "If they don’t get the patent, Longaker won’t do any trial btw"
  6. amaizing!! looks much better the treated areas and less shock loss around, @DrTBarghouthi would be nice if in your next experiments you also test injecting verteporfin not only on donor area but also in test/control in transplanted area... maybe it helps to reduce shock loss and better/faster growth too if that happens it would take HT and recovery to next level.
  7. @DrTBarghouthi any update on setting the new date for the trial? 2 weeks ago you said you were updating us in the coming week. Can you share what is going to be different in this trial from the first one and which doses do you plan to use this time? Thanks for your work!
  8. I agree with this, if there is someone that invested 15k on this to speed up the process you should go ahead and not delay, if there was already a volunteer and date there is no reason to postpone, all investors/donators are expecting results soon. Maybe Longakar is just playing to delay all this on purpose and want to do his own research, how can someone be so busy and cancel so many times it just shows a lack of interest on this project. Go ahead with the new volunteer as soon as possible and we will be all happy.
  9. what happened to this case? did you get the repair done? can you post updates pics?
  10. how long have you been using? what is the price? how much you apply, concentration and when? everyday? and why you think is a cure?
  11. Anyone know how to ask pharmacy to formulate topical dutaste liposomde? Fueclinic has now the LipoDut what is the formula of this to as local pharmacy to compound?
  12. @DrTBarghouthi thanks for update! looks promising! when are you starting tests with higher dosis? we all want to see more of this coming are you aware of any other doctors doing this or asking about this to try soon? As someone else said before we should create some kind of summary doc about this so other doctors can read about this and not have to read all threads here and get lost and then send to most of clinics who want to participate.
  13. If this needs 0.24mg injection per removed graft and an average FUE transplant is 2000 grafts it is 480mg of medication that is injected in our body, is it not too much? what side effects can this cause in our body? I dont think such high dose have been tested or approved? does anyone know max dose approved for verteporfin?
  14. How will this work on an average FUE hair transplant of 2000 grafts? will you have to do 2000 injections on each graft? is not that very complicated and maybe too much verteporfin in the body? Will this work also as a gel/spray applied after the transplant that would be easier to apply?
