  1. It looks thicker in person, but yes I hope so too. Those pictures were taken in some bright light.
  2. Sorry for the upside down photos for some of these. Tomorrow is 7 month post operation for me. I think my hairline is continuing to fill in more, and I look forward to the remaining 5 months or so. My crown is okay…I didn’t expect a return to the old days of my crown before balding when it was super thick, and I know I will probably do one more operation to fill in the crown again someday (among other things), but hopefully in 5 more months at the one year mark it will show less of my scalp. It’s definitely going to be an improvement for sure but we will see how it turns out. I continue to have shock loss in my donor area. It’s annoying because I want to get a shorter haircut on the sides but I can’t or it will be super obvious. It’s not the end of the world though. My whole scalp is recovering still. I think people forget a hair transplant is a surgery on your head, there’s going to be some trauma to the hair. But I have this weird (but good) suspicion that since my donor area is delayed in recovering / growing, that once it comes back in I will see an uptick in growth in my crown too. As if my scalp will be “coming back to life” in a way. Who knows, it could happen. See you again for month 8.
  3. I’m a fellow Dr Bicer patient. My whole experience was great. Ozen is a gem
  4. I am at 6 months now. So far, I’m very happy with my hairline. The grafts Dr. Bicer added to my hairline have made a big difference from the first transplant I had with Dr. Bradley Wolf. Hypothetically, even if my hairline stopped growing any new hair today, I would still be happy with it. But there’s still 6 more months or so of growth! So I am very excited about my new hairline. It looks very, very natural…and as I said, still more months of growth to come. I’m not sure what to think of my crown. I don’t expect complete coverage at the end of it all, but I do hope to see a lot less skin when all is finished. So we will see what happens. I continue to have the temporary shock loss in my complete donor area. I am not worried, as Dr. Bicer said it might take 6 months for it to start to come back. And that’s where I am now. So hopefully by the next update at month 7 there will be some improvement. My pictures remind me of why I want some temple points so so badly next time and for the hairline to be “curved” at the end of it to transition to the temples. What do you guys think so far? Be honest. Thanks!
  5. I’ll be sure to do that for my 6 month update coming up in a couple weeks.
  6. A picture with natural light for those who were asking. See you again in month 6. If you refer back to my post-op photos, my crown was quite a large area to cover but I’m sure my results will be pretty decent.
  7. I’ll remember to do that for next month. To be honest, natural light also makes it look like these pics but I will do so anyway.
  8. Thanks! It actually looks a little fuller than it does in pictures. Stay tuned!
  9. I send her an update every month with pictures and if I have any issues, which I don’t normally except for itching and numbness in the first few months. I’ll be curious to see your results!
  10. My 5 month update. Not much progress yet, but I definitely do have hair growing in. For most of my photos, I take them in pretty bright light, which I’m not sure if that is a good idea or not. I hope to learn to take better pictures for the coming months. I still have temporary shock loss on my donor area, but I am not worried. Dr. Bicer said it would start coming back to normal at about 6 months. I look forward to the remaining 7 months of growth. As with most things in life for me, I’m a late bloomer and I expect no different with hair haha.
  11. That’s great news. I was hoping it would be under 250 grafts for each temple so that’s nice to know in the future I won’t need that many temple grafts / not need to spend as much money. Thanks!
  12. I had my operation with Bicer at the end of August 2022. I just passed 4 month mark and look forward to getting growth soon. I planned on going back one day in the future for my temples because I lack them so I’ll be following your results closely! Can I ask, how many grafts would you say were in each temple? I know you had the hairline done too but I’m curious how many grafts for the temples alone would be.
  13. I am a little early, but in 3 days I will be exactly 4 months post operation. There is still some sensitivity / irritation on one tiny section of my crown, but I’m not worried. Everywhere else that was transplanted had it too and it went away, this is just the last section to do so. I do not have any new transplanted hair coming in in my hairline or crown yet although if I look very very closely in the mirror I can see a hair or two coming in. I continue to have the same level of temporary shock loss in my donor area. You may not be able to tell but I can, plus when I run my fingers through it it is still very thin. But I am not worried. Dr. Bicer said it would come back around the 6 month mark, maybe sooner. I’m not mad or angry that I take a little longer to heal and grow. If anything, I have a good reward waiting for me soon when my new hairs grow and my donor shock loss heals fully. Dr Bicer continues to be very involved and helpful post operation. I took these pictures in very bright and harsh light. Thanks for checking in on my post, everyone.
  14. I don’t know this guy’s intentions or even what he wants. If he’s genuinely curious, ok fine. But there is a lot of manipulation from other competing clinics. Not saying this is that but it could be. Dr bicer once told me that other Turkish clinics will steal your pictures that are either not even your full result yet, or show you scarred up after the transplant and these hair mills will make it look like that’s the final result and some crap like that.
  15. Appreciate that. Holler at me if you have any questions.
  16. I would ask the doctor when it is ok to get your first haircut. I could certainly get a haircut if I wanted to, but with my temporary shock-loss it would show daylight in my scalp and also my strip scar from my first surgery. My shaggy look (which isn’t even shaggy honestly) is far better looking than a haircut. I have the luxury of wearing a hat too but for times like church and stuff I can’t / won’t wear one.
  17. I agree, just let it grow on its own for a few months. Just posted some pictures.
  18. In 4 days I will be 3 months post operation. As some of you may know, numbness can stick around after a transplant for a few months. Almost all of my numb areas disappeared in the first two months but a certain spot on my crown is almost done getting rid of the last bit of numbness, and along with it some last little bit of itching. In the next few weeks I have no doubt that will all finally be gone. There are a few pimples I have on the crown, and that’s the only place I have had them. There is some redness remaining but not much. That too will disappear soon. I still have shock loss and it was pretty embarrassing for the first two months when the hair was shorter. You could see daylight through my scalp. My hair is longer now so it covers it up somewhat but my sides and back are still very thin. I can tell by running my fingers through it. I am not worried because it will come back and it happens with even the best of surgeons. No surgeon can control how your body will react to a surgery. It’s just whatever your body wants to do. I would say I’m past the ugly duckling phase. I’m really looking forward to the time between now and Christmas as it might be when I’d get my first new hairs coming in! Overall, I’m very happy with choosing Dr. Bicer, and my posts going forward should be more exciting from here on out since there will be growth and more healing to report.
  19. Hey guys sorry for my absence. I am still around. I will start photos again soon. I am approaching my three month mark. There is really no numbness left anywhere on my head. Just a very tiny tiny spot near the crown, and it also has some itching but that will be gone soon too. I itched a lot in my first two months. I have had temporary shock loss in my donor area, which is normal (normal, meaning it can happen to anyone). She said it will come back by month 6, but it could come back even more. I have not bothered to get a haircut since my operation on August 31. My hair looks like did in my before pictures, just much shorter. I will probably wait until around New Year’s Day to get my first haircut. I wouldn’t say I’m in an ugly duckling phase, just a “not optimal” phase appearance wise. The three month mark will be November 31. So there’s nothing exciting to show at the moment. My transplanted hair will probably start to grow in between now and Christmas. So I look forward to that and also my donor getting back to normal in the next few months too.
  20. No idea about him. I had my procedure with Dr Bicer 2 months ago. You can check out my post. I think she is backed up for about a year but people cancel so I’d get your name on the list if you want her.
