  1. Hair transplants are not miracles and your hair wont be the same as you had when you were younger. managing expectations is a huge thing in this industry. realistically your hair looks amazing and far better than once you started, they did a 6000 graft surgery in one sitting and maybe not everything went perfectly but the overall result from one surgery speaks for itself. If I'm being honest you sound like a child throwing a tantrum.

I've been on the med for about 30 years and never experienced a side effect. It has always been my understanding there's more testosterone with the med.  So, I choose to think about it that way. I tend to think, if you believe you'll experience a side effect, you eventually will.

Years ago, I worked for a doctor that wrote about this same subject for his doctoral degree.  He was under the impression that the use of the med would eventually lead to dementia.  We'll have to wait and see if this becomes true.

Year after year, it seems, more negativity comes up regarding the use of the medication.  Regardless, I plan on continue taking the med.  Can you imagine a consultant in the industry with no hair? No bueno.

Hair loss is known to be fast when your younger and slow down when youre older. do you know of anyone who lets say took finasteride for 20 years from the age of 20 to 40 then stopped then didnt recieve hair loss or recieved it minimally? Im currently an nw2.5-3 at 21 years old. ive been taken finasteride for 1 and a half years and have stabilized my hairloss but ideally I dont want to be on medication forever so im not sure what to do.

I'm not sure if it will ruin my self esteem in any manner going there but yes will definitely try to consider other options too. Thanks for the recommendation and genuine advice.

You dont need to go out of country. Eugenix is one of the best clinics and people from all over the world travel to india to go there. They produce natural hairlines and can even take on the most challenging cases.

Im not sure what basic principles you are referring to. Any quack can take hair from the back of your head and implant it in the front of your head

What do you like specifically about eugenix hairlines?

I mean basic principles when designing the hairline and I think the hairlines they design look extremely natural and follow what is normal in nature. By different philosophies I mean some Drs go for a more youthful and aggressive hairline if its possible to do so some go for a more conservative look as to try and use as much less grafts as possible, some go for something in between etc. They are all great drs that produce good results. people just need to do there research and see what suits them best for there situation.

I don't think stopping hairloss at this point might be enough. If it stays like that I'd be better off with shaving it bald, but at the moment I am uncomfortable to do so.

At the moment those are too pricey for me. Medication might help in the long run but since I don't want to stay like this (proceeded to far already).

I finally got to make those photos. Hopefully that makes it easier to judge, would really enjoy your opinion please.

Definitely yes, My best results of my first FUE showed up at 18 months and persisted for about 2 years until I started losing more hair to a point I needed another FUE

If you are on Finasteride then past that 1 year to 1.5 year mark, your hairs reaches their maximum growth outcome but from that point onwards you will see how the hair thickens up as they draw back from the miniaturization due to the meds.

Can certainly attest to this. Good luck!

do you mean non transplanted hair started to go after 2 years, also were you on meds during this time.

This doesn't just happen with hair loss cures. I remember when I was a kid back in the 1970s there was supposed to be a tooth decay vaccine coming in a few years that would be giving to all young children and would make most Dentists go out of business because there wouldn't be anyone getting cavities any more. I just read an article recently still saying a vaccine is coming soon. That's 50 years.

not to sound like a conspiracy theorist but if something like that was possible I don't see the reason why it would ever be allowed to the general public. major organisations would be out of business.

But you’re a fan of the transparent lacking in density ones ? Strange comment.

Hair transplants that match native density as closely as possible are as natural looking as you can get - given the hairline design is sound, the angles are correct and the appropriately textured hairs are used.

For any form of hairline lowering and temple point work - unless you go dense, it’s not worth doing. Thicker haired candidates may get away with slightly lower implanted density - but due to the singles and softer hairs required in these areas, a higher density count should always be planned for with these types of interventions.

nope, you have misinterpreted what I meant. I am usually in favour of less dense hair transplants because I've got progressive hair loss and even though it has stabilised there's chance it will go further back given the fact that I was already an NW3 at aged 21. This transplant has around 80 grafts per cm2. he used 3300 grafts to do this whole procedure. That's a large chunk of grafts gone for a small portion of the hairline. I am more in favour of something like 50-55 grafts per cm2 being used so that you still get a full head of hair that looks good but has saved grafts for further hair loss. op had no further balding and a matured hairline, in this case he got what he wanted which was to lower the hairline and it to be dense. his transplant looks good and most people will not know something was done.
