Hi guys.. I feel discomfort on both my temple areas which is obviously sensitive. This discomfort has been with me on and off since my surgery 6 months ago which makes 0 sense. Sometimes I dont shampoo these areas for fear the discomfort may evolve into more discomfort.

Is there anyone here who can relate to this experience? What have you done or recommend I do to reduce the sensitivity?

Hi guys.. Its been 6 months now since my surgery. During this time I've been diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis which feels like I have a cap of hard to remove dandruff on my scalp. My derm prescribed Tsal shampoo. But after a month it hasn't done anything. I asked for a special injection to get rid off it but he stood firmly against it because he claims it can create collagen which can choke the transplanted follicles. 

I really want to get rid of this fast. Has anyone had this issue after surgery and what was your treatment for it postop?

Fyi to you and others here, the growth after 4 months postop looks remarkably good I admit. So I guess no min for me! But I will return to see Couto to get the remaining 1000 grafts. After that, I'll be freeeeee

So in my case since its been now 4 months post op, if I take min will I experience shedding? I dont want to destroy 4 months of hair growth progress just to shed and start regrowth all over again.

Hi guys.. I'm 4 months post-op now and my doc suggested at the time of the surgery minoxidil to help the growth further. I have never it used due to potential sexual side effects but I'm having 2nd thoughts about that decision. I'm now thinking about taking it.. 2 questions:

1) I've got about 2 inches of hair growth so far. Will I experience any hair shedding? I dread that.

2) Has anyone who has used it had any sexual side effects?

Hi guys.. Its been now 4 months since my surgery and have been noticing some hairs on my right side of the scalp falling out. Its always on that side though, no where else. I notice it when I see hairs on my baseball cap when I take it off. Its not a lot mind you, but its enough to worry about and get goddamn upset over.

Is this normal that only one side of the scalp does this? Hair shedding should have stopped by now. Should I be worried?

I'm 4 months postop. I keep having this sharp pain in both temple areas that has lasted for 3 the past months. I experience it twice a week. Has anyone felt this pain before? What have you done to eliminate this pain?

Yeah my doc told me to wait a year. But I requested to see him earlier and he said he can assess me sooner as long as everything leading up to that point looks good enough.

Every 2 years is ideal for full recovery. 

I understand but 2 - 3 years is just too much wait time. From what I've been observing here, 90% of patients dont wait that long for a 2nd round of transplants.

Cuz I feels that I needed a bit more in the front temples area.

How soon after a transplant can you get another transplant? Is it possible to get a 2nd transplant  4 months after your 1st transplant?

Honestly, my hair before the operation grew much faster than what google suggests. But more importantly, your google quote doesnt take into account postop hair growth rate.

Hi everyone.. It's been 15 weeks since my transplant, havent cut my hair since but the length is a mere 1.5 inches. I can't believe this is happening and I'm going crazy over this! When will my hair finally grow at the normal rate again??

Are you sure?? Dr. Couto told me to use whatever gentle shampoo 2 weeks after my surgery.
