  1. Final update just over 12 months since the op. Im satisfied with the final result l, would like a bit more density on the front side bits but well worth it.
  2. Satisfied, at the front still needs to thicken up a bit but it’s developing.
  3. Sorry for the lack of updates here’s the just short of 7 months update.
  4. Update time just over 3 months in now, I didn’t update month 2 as there wasn’t much to add from the previous months. Everything has healed up now, I’ve had 3 hair cuts since the last update, grade 4 around the back and sides first trim then grade 3 on the next 2 cuts. The top has had a very minimal hair cut with scissors and to be honest my hair doesn’t feel or look too much different from before the HT but I’m only 3 months in so not expecting miracles!
  5. Just over 1 month update. My donor area is still sensitive, if it’s touched but everything else is ok atm. Started up on my Peloton yesterday after a month off and had my head washed under the shower head, felt a little sensitive on the crown so I avoided being under it for long under it. Shedding has well and truly started over the last few weeks. I will post back my 2 month update next month. Here’s my latest pictures.
  6. I was thinking of slowing down now as the updates aren’t that interesting and was planning on 1 update a month until 12 months. I can’t guarantee that of course but that’s the aim. there’s plenty of places, her website, social media, Reddit as well just need to look for it.
  7. Day 16 update All scabs have pretty much gone now, scalp isn’t itchy anymore and I’m still numb on the sides of my head. I'm losing a lot of hair when I’m washing it now I suspect shedding and the new grafts coming out, they all pretty much look like they don’t have any roots as such either.
  8. Post your pictures, you can hide your face, nothing to be afraid of. Plus people can gain a lot from it on the forum but I do respect that you don’t want to. how was your experience?
  9. Day 14 update I’ve been firmer with massaging the transplanted area and all of the scabs are nearly off now. Donor area is healing up nicely, my crown is very sensitive to touch, I’ve been given the go ahead to remove the neck pillow at night and sleep on my back or side still. I’ve also been told I can wear a cap and t shirt again rather than shirts all the time which I’m pleased about as wearing shirts all the time isn’t for me!! Cap is only being worn sparingly when at my son’s sports activities/ picking up from school to minimise wearing one too much. im very numb on both sides of my head at the top, so hoping that will go soonish but it appears to be going ok so far, I’m sure like other people you won’t know how well it’s gone until way down the line.
  10. yeah, it's all of the stuff they've put into your scalp coming out will be will like that for a few weeks, well mine still is but not as much.
  11. Lotion for an hour then shampoo twice is Dr Bicer’s advice. We have been really soft and careful with it but after a chat with Dr Bicer we massaged the scalp in the lotion phase and shampoo phase and a lot of scabs have broken off today on day 10.
  12. Day 8 update Swelling has come down on my forehead and eyes, I’m struggling to sleep with laying on my back and the neck pillow, it’s been a rough week sleep wise. Scabs are still very present. When washing little bits of scabs are coming off and I don’t appear to be losing any grafts but that’s hard to tell. Felt a sense that things were moving forwards yesterday but not as far along as I hoped by this point.
  13. Thanks, good to know it’s a bit unnerving not really knowing if things are going well or not. So much 2nd guessing if you are doing things correctly l!
  14. Day 6 post procedure update I have swelling around my eyes, slightly bruised and my forehead, nothing too bad but I can feel it on my eyes and around them. Front area feels like it’s getting hard scab wise, and cracking up a bit today. Bepanthol is going on every night then 2 washes. My other half is being very careful(Not sure if too careful) but completely understand that. TheBepthanol is hard to get out so there’s some residual lotion on the transplant areas which drys off. How does it look, should I be expecting less scabs at this stage?
  15. 22/09/22 - Update 2 - Some slight swelling has developed on my forehead and around my eye's nothing too bad though. Scabs are now starting to form, 1st wash is tomorrow on day 3, which to be honest i'm a bit nervous about. Dr Bicer has sent a video through of how to wash it so will give that a go tomorrow.
  16. Thank you, hoping for good results but with lower expectations on my part because i don't want to be disappointed!!
  17. present all day in the surgery, extraction and incisions was done by Dr Bicer then she checked up in the grafts a few times in the afternoon as they were mostly done by her technicians.
  18. I have thin hair, DR Bicer advised that it would/could look like 2000 grafts were done because of this and I might need extra grafts in a years time for density but we would monitor it over the course of the next year.
  19. Before pictures losing density around the crown and at the front of my hair. on my review of Dr Bicer and her team of assistants, the building is nice as is the surgery, very clean minimal but tasteful decoration. The staff are all pretty friendly although English isn’t their native tongue they all tried to converse with me as much as they could which was very much appreciated as their English is much better than my Turkish! Dr Bicer and Özen in my initial video call estimated that I would need around 3500 grafts via FUE Micromotor, once Dr Bicer had had a look at my hair it was decided to do around 3800 as my crown was worse than the pictures showed. Once I had done all the paperwork, photos, hair shaving and deciding the hairline it was time for the Dr Bicer and her assistants to get to work. Once the anaesthetic had been done (some pain with the need insertion) we were good to go the folicals were removed, then the incisions were done by Dr Bicer, then it was lunch time a quick food stop and then it was time for the transplantation to start. The transplantation took around 4 to 5 hours with 4 technicians rotating the work between them and Dr Bicer coming into check the work a few times. Once that was finished by about 18:30, it was in with Dr Bicer for a final review and the. Off back to the Sheraton hotel which is a 2 minutes walk from the surgery. I went back in this morning 21 September for a final check up before being sent on my way to the airport with all my medication. Overall impressions are positive all of the staff are friendly and it feels a very professional set up I was checked on constantly by the staff and Dr Bicer all day, instructions are clear on what to do tablet wise, how to clean the hair. Now for the bit where I see if the transplantation is a success as long as I do what im asked to do. Apologies for the very quick review and lack of proofreading, I’ve been up since 4:30 Uk time and it’s now 23:30 UK time sorry pretty tired after travelling, lack of sleep, surgery it’s been a busy few days. Below are some post op pics. Any questions please feel free to reach out to me.
  20. Hi All, im planning on going with Dr Bicer from the recommendations from this forum and the consultation I've had. A question, i hope someone may be able to assist with, how have you transferred your money without having the 10% charge on a debit card? Did you pay in cash?
