because if fin is really good for you & you regrow some hair and vastly improve your donor area and top of your head, you’ll need less grafts and any weak hairs that would have been permanently lost due to shock loss may not be lost after surgery with fin, there’s many reasons 😊

fin might be really good for you to keep hold of or even regrow some areas. I myself am going to try a topical finasteride solution if I can find a reputable source in the near future

It was vision issues?
my vision itself was fine but my eyelids were a mess and the redness/dryness was getting larger. surgeon advised me to stop and advised it was a rare side of the dut

Really, what was your protocol?
I took 2 a week for 2 months, Monday & Thursday then upped it to 3 weekly (MWF) and by 3 months I had to stop, my eyelids were swollen and really dry & red/irritated 😞

think once you’ve researched enough or had a transplant, you look for & notice transplants all the time lol…. In the airport on route to Porto I noticed at least 3 gents who had transplants, the donor was awful bless them, must have gone Turkey or a UK mill

I must be one of the unlucky ones because low dose dut recked me man 🤣🙈

I think studies have shown even 0.025% topical fin is effective

how has the topical min been working for you??

Hey fam, Month 6 update.
I have let the donor grow a bit. Ill admit, for the first few months post HT, it was so hard for me to believe the donor would bounce back. Even though I've seen numerous cases where it did for other Eugenix patients, I just started wavering. Many of you chimed in with support and it helped. Thank you.
I must say, I am pleased with how the donor has turned out, and my worrying was in vain. Eugenix knows what they're doing. See ya at mo. 7 ✌️
bluddy hell this is glorious lol 🔥🔥

Why do you say this mate? Did you have work done with him? I am doing some research, thanks.
unfortunately for me, my first transplant was done by him & it was absolutely shocking… I had to go for a repair this year. please stay well away my friend

Hello gents.
Just an update at the circa 12 month mark. All well my end - very happy with the results. This is a selection of photos taken over the past couple of months (not for hair purposes).
My hair has gotten pretty long now (final photo) but I’m planning on cutting it slightly shorter back to the length in the other photos (about an inch off the top).
jesus wept, i wasn’t exaggerating when I said masterpiece 🤣🤣
looks incredible man, so natural 🔥🔥🔥🔥👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Yes, 20 drops each and once a day.
I'm almost sure mixed formula isn't marketing in pharms, mine made by a local pharmacist with prescription, or you can order directly from HDC (the blue bottle), the clinic ship 3 units for 195€ (65€ per unit) + shipping around 30€, if interested you can mail the clinic or send me details in my WhatsApp.
thank you brother

I was on 1.25mg almost every day for 3 years.
In July 2023 I stopped fin and immediately started taking dut 0.5mg about 5 days a week. I got side effects almost immediately, and the side effects worsened over time.
In October 2023 I stopped taking dut because the sides were too dangerous and disruptive. Since then I have not taken any medication. Thankfully the side effects have been fading and I'm over the worst of them now, but I'm still not back to 100% and I believe it takes dut 6 months to wash out.
On fin I always had sexual sides but they were tolerable.
Since quitting dutasteride, the improvement I made on dut has been lost and I'm now at a stage where my hair loss is and appearance is very annoying to me again.
oh man 😞
it’s a tough fight is the hair loss fight but don’t give in bro, I had to stop dut after a few months as it made my eyelids swollen, red & dry! haven’t taken a tab in 3 weeks and my eyelids are still so red and sore…
I will try oral or topical fin next but hang in there good sir 👊🏼👊🏼
-
what dosage of fin were you on? topical or oral?
-
I’ve heard as little as 0.025% topical finasteride works well
