In this video he claims he removed 1500 grafts from this guy's hairline and after 3 days it will be completely healed up 🤣🤣
You r missing the point. He is saying the holes will be “closed” in another 72 hours. He is not saying u will go back to normal skin in 3 days. Not even a fool would believe that.

Look up this guy named magnificent Al on YouTube. Dr Konior did his HT and his hairline is awesome. I think he posts on here too:

Seems konior is booked until 2024 and not accepting consultations. Looking for a doctor to repair my hairline. I contacted Shapiro but is there anyone else I should be contacting?
Dr. Nadimi.

That is 2200 FUE grafts? What clinic in Atlanta?

I really like

I would feel comfortable going to him for a HT. he is in thailand

I have read bout this, but never pursued it. I am too scared of "scarring" etc. But some of the results I have seen are amazing. How safe is microneedling long term. How painful is it? Do you guys have any personal before and afters you can share?

for females it is a good idea. for males its questionable. It can be considered if you have absolutely no male pattern baldness genetics but that is hard to predict as most guys have some degree of MPB.
Dr Nadimi at Chicago Hair Institute is well known for this type of surgery. She may not even consider you if you are a male, but worth checking with her.

I hope this is still on topic. I'm talking about the kind of surgery where they literally pull down your hairline instead of creating a new one by placing grafts.
I have a pretty big forehead and it wouldn't be possible to lower my hairline enough with a hair transplant only. My idea is to combine hairline lowering surgery and hair transplant. The plan is to lower the hairline by surgery and then fill my receding temples/hide the scar with a hair transplant. That way most of the hairline lowering work is done by the surgery and the hair transplant doctor can focus on hairline density instead of lowering the hairline as much as possible by filling out a big area.
Sadly it's hard to research hairline lowering surgery or even find a good clinic for it, because hair transplants are THAT much more popular that i can only find results for it when searching for hairline lowering online, so i have a few questions:
- What are good hairline lowering clinics/doctors in germany, europe or the rest of the world?
- I guess the highest quality hair transplant clinics/doctors probably don't practice hairline lowering surgery? So i probably have to visit two different clinics for the lowering surgery and for the hair transplant each?
- Do you guys recommend hairline lowering surgery? What are the downsides of it?

That is a large number of grafts. How is the back of the head feeling? when possible can you post some clear shots of your FUT incision, and do you by chance happend to know the dimenstions of the strip that was taken out.

Great results. To the poster that didnt think there were quality clinics in UK. Your work (from what I have seen) is always on par with some of the best in the world.

Great results.

so this and the weed thread type of posts are what i need to make to get my post count up from 40 and be taken "seriously." Ironic.
🤣. There are no elite British doctors. I don't really care for you Shiba with your 40 comments, if you don't like my comments (all of which follow the forum rules mind you) I encourage you to block my profile.
You won't be missed 👌

A proper 2000 graft harvest, shouldn’t leave your donor looking like that, specially in someone with your hair type.

Yes moth eaten appearance = over harvest. Either they took more than 2000, to get 2000 or used larger punches.
what was the reputable clinic? You speak of. -

Same for me on the effects it's not life changing but it's a good boost. I'm definitely not elite but I workout 3 times a week and cardio 3 times a week (us football or running when off season).
So yeah it's a big part of my life, as much as my hair.
The DHT elevation comes from it's effects on 5 alpha reductase if I am not mistaking
There is just no possible way creatine causes DHT increase. Creatine work on ATP and energy cycle.
I searched pubmed. There is just one study on rugby players. It does show a dramatic increase in DHT. The study lacks a control group of players that are taking creatine but do not do any workouts. It makes more sense that the DHT increase is from working out than creatine. The study seems suspect.
having said that even if a bit of doubt, don't take it. OR measure your own DHT levels before starting and then measure it again in 14 days and then at 28 days to see the trend.
-
Why does creatine cause elevated test and elevated DHT. There is absolutely no mechanism I can comprehend that can cause this. If working out and getting stronger elevates your test levels will you give that up for your hair. What is next castrating yourself to keep hair?
Creatine is the only proven legal, safe aid to improve your strength, which will in turn lead to more hypertrophy. It is not needed for lifting of course. But if you are in elite level and want that extra boost I would not think twice about using it.
I dont know if it is getting old or what, but in my late 30s creatine gives me about 15% boost in my strength. It also makes cardio "easier." it is definitely noticeable.

Not sure why any British person wouldn't take a short train or plain ride to one of the outstanding mainland Europe doctors.
UK docs are mediocre at best.
Your blanket categorization on multiple doctor skill set levels (on this and other threads) is ridiculous for someone that has never ever worked in the field. The way you talk, one would think you are the worlds leading authority on hair transplant surgeons. Maybe your research has made you seem like you are, but believe me you ARE NOT. The rash of recent threads you have created regarding "if xyz can effect your HT?" just highlights your lack of knowledge. I urge you to be a bit more judicious in your opinion.

This patient came in to see Dr. Arocha for an FUT procedure with a PRP treatment at the same time. These photos are an interesting case study. The PRP traveled down his face, so when he came in for his three month follow-up, the patient and Dr. Arocha noticed significant improvement to the density in the patient’s eyebrows and eyelashes, which was a residual benefit to the treatment. I look forward to sharing an update on his actual hair transplant when he comes in for his six month follow-up. He had noticeable density improvement in his beard also, but he was wearing a mask, so we don’t have any great photos of that, but I’ll ask doc to take some photos when he’s in next.

Hi Arochaangel,
that is pretty neat. How have your results been for actual scalp hair with regards to PRP alone. Do you know what concetration prp do you guys utilize? (6x baseline, 10x baseline) so on?

BTW is that you?? if it is , you really dont need a transplant..

besides its not an all or nothing, if planned carefully a black man on finasteride who has a transplant at 24 will still most likely be able to have good hair in 40s.
-
Yes. Dr Cooley is good at his craft. you will be fine. Most of these old posters are right. you probably WILL care about your hair in your 40s. BUt nobody else can set your priorities with 100% certainty. If you really think you wont maybe you are that rare bird that really wont. Who knows. Do what makes you happy. live your life. You make your bed, you lay in it. Dont let anyone discourage you .. Just listen to every advice but at the end make your own informed decision.

Go with thailand. both the doctors mentioned above have consistent good/ great results.

While you don’t “need” a hair transplant, no one really needs one, but we want one to look better.
the ironic thing is you are the most ideal hair transplant candidate. An adult with minimal hair loss.
dont let the pessimist convince you not too. Of course surgery is a risk, and it can go wrong but that’s why you select a good surgeon to give it a best success. dr Bisanga is good and won’t mess you up.
if improving your hair line will help you be more satisfied with how you look. I think you should go for it.
