To be honest I've heard of Dr Prasad previously, when he was involved with Dr Hitzig who had a bad reputation. They were doing Acell and PRP back in 2011 but the reality is that there is no evidence of hair regeneration.
Various docs have tried this and dismissed it.
I believe Dr Jerry Cooley and Dr Carlos Wesley looked into this extensively.
However, realistically It's best to stick to proven treatments and hair transplants. Don't get your hopes up with this folks.

Has Dr. LORENZO Had any positive results in the last few years?
Is he a Good surgeon? Does he know what he is doing?
Inquiring minds want to know!!!!

It sounds like some of your questions are specific to Dr. Lorenzo and others are not. I will answer questions more generally. Technicians go through various quantities of training depending on the physician but hair transplant surgeons recommended by our community make their technicians go through very thorough training. As one of our members said above, training can be very tedious and time-consuming but it’s worth it since ultimately, if one technician is off their game even on one particular day, and entire hair transplant could be messed up and it will be the doctors responsibility. So while a technician is extremely important as are all of them regarding the hair transplant process, at the end of the day, the hair transplant surgeon is responsible for the ultimate result.
Dr. Lorenzo was previously recommended by our community but now that he has moved back to Spain, he doesn’t really have the time to engage with patients on this forum which is why he isn’t a part of it any longer. I actually would like to reach out to him to see if he now has any additional time that he’d like to devote to our transparent process and working with our patients and community since his work and results I’ve always been top notch.
Best wishes,
Bill
I agree, Dr Lorenzo is one of the best FUE docs in the business so it would be good to have him back on the forum.
However, on the Spanish forums it has been revealed that Dr Lorenzo's partner, Ximena Vila is leaving his clinic to start her own clinic. She was trained by Lorenzo and has worked with him since 2009, so is just as good as he is.
It may be worth seeing if she wants to join the forum? Her results are also very good.
Her website is XimenaVila.com

Hi,
From what I've seen, Dr Lorenzo's partner at his clinic in Spain, Dr Ximena Vila (female) has done quite a few good female cases.
You should check out their YouTube channel injertocapilar for videos.

Hey buddy.
I have an off topic question.
You say you take anti depressiv medication.
Can i ask why, and does it work?
And how is it Working? Does it help you beeing more like you dont Care about the problems you deal with?
I ask because i am going to a phsyacoligist and im considering anti depressive medication because i have anxiaty about my hair and being in public
So would taking medication help me dont Care about my hair anymore? And stop me using all Day looking in the mirror and feeling sad
Hi Johnny,
I'm also on an anti depressant for anxiety. I'm on Sertraline. Yes it does help a lot.
It won't completely take your symptoms away but it will give you your life back and you will start to enjoy things again.
I would suggest speaking with your doctor to discuss your options. It takes 6-8 weeks to really work and you may have to try a few different ones before you find one that's good for you.
It's really no big deal being on them as a lot more people than you would imagine actually take anti depressants.

Hi Harry, I'm with you on this. I've been thinking this for a while.
Although Erdogan is a very good surgeon, I feel his work is too aggressive ie 5k grafts in one session for guys who would be better off with 3k grafts. Also with FUE, yield is affected more with mega sessions. He generally transplants much more grafts than other docs.
Just my opinion.
Also, a lot of his hairlines are way too straight. They often look unnatural. Usually the grafts should be staggered very slightly.
I do however think Dr Hasson, Dr Lorenzo, and Dr Bisnaga do top notch work as well as plenty of others on this site.
-
You've got a lot of hair still so that's good. I would urge you to get back on finasteride long term and stay on it. There's no point in getting a transplant now, only to lose more native hair in the next few years.
Good luck

To be honest, I've noticed this myself.
Dr erdogan does do great work, but I have to say that I feel he has a lot of cases where he puts 5k grafts into young guys, when really they need much less.
Just my opinion
-
Honestly mate your hair looks really good and most blokes would be delighted to have hair like that.
What I will say however, is that the hairline is overly straight, which gives an unnatural appearance. This is typical of Erdogans hairline designs from what I have seen. Usually surgeons prefer to stagger the hairline slightly to make it look more natural.
If you really wanted to, you could get a couple of hundred grafts into the hairline to stagger it a little.

Good choice! He's a top doc!
You should have a nice full crown in a few months!
-
I saw his first procedure, that is why I commented FUT wouldn't worth it. I don't think its an amazing result. Its a good result but nothing special. If you think its amazing check out Koray Erdogan's FUE works. Here I put an example,
The case you posted in that link is ridiculous! Firstly the pre op photos are shown with WET hair and post op with DRY. Secondly, the hair loss wasn't that bad but, as is a feature of Dr Erdogans Work, he uses far too much finite donor hair on lower Norwood cases. This does not bide well for the future!
-
Honestly mate it looks really good!! Any guy on this forum would kill for your hair!!!
I think just try and chill out now. It sounds like there's a lot of psychological issues going on here and I honestly don't think another procedure is needed or will make you happy.
It looks great and just try and focus on something else and consider counselling/medication.

I have seen a lot of his work on Spanish forums and have been very impressed. However, I am concerned that he uses a motorused punch.

I honestly think that temple points are an essential feature of a good hair transplant. Some patients don't require them but others do. It finishes off the look nicely, framing the face and provides a very nice profile!
I also think that if you have good temple points you can get away with a slightly higher hairline as it frames the sides better.
-
Hi Johnny,
I think it looks like a good result!
As I said before, maybe grow it out a bit and style it and see how it looks.
-
Great results! Lots of coverage given your starting point! If you wanted you could go back for additional density.
Are you on finasteride??
Also, I like the hairline design! Was that Dr Lorenzo's choice or did you request it that way.
-
Hi, no this isn't me. I know better than to go for a doctor who hasn't been pre screened by the hair transplant network!
I googled "medistate" which is shown on a building and found out the surgeon is a Doctor Tayfun Oguzoglu. Never heard of him before and as you said, a lot of low cost FUE clinic in Turkey are technician led, which is risky.
I am yet to have a FUE procedure, but when I do, I'm sure that I will choose Dr Lorenzo.

Looking good!! Congrats on your procedure!! Your procedure looks good! In a few months you're gonna be rocking some awesome hair!!
Was Dr Lorenzo insistent on a more mature hairline or was he open to it being changed to your liking?

Hi Johnny,
From your pics I see what you mean about the density, however with your hair cut that short it's unlikely that a hair transplant will give you the results that you want.
I haven't seen any hair transplant results that look great when buzzed right down. You should consider growing it out a couple of inches and go to a stylist. You have hair most guys can only dream of! Enjoy it and enjoy your life!
Alternatively if you want the buzzed look with more density, what about SMP?
Also, I have anxiety and it sounds like you may be experiencing it too. I'm on Meds for it now and haven't looked back, really helped me function and go about my day. PM me if you need any advice

100% with you all on the temple points. They are very important in framing the face and completing the look.
I also think that if you have temple points done then you can get away with a higher hairline.

Any updates Johnny??

Wow! Incredible hairline design and great hairstyle!
What is a good saw palmetto brand?

Don't bother with saw palmetto. I continued to lose hair on it for a few years. I then jumped on propecia and 10 years later No further hair loss.
