  1. I spoke to Dr Mwamba last week. He said they’ll find a new location by next summer. So I think you can just wait if you don’t feel like traveling to Brussels
  2. First session was scheduled for 600 grafts ended using 400 grafts. Next session 200 grafts if we stick to plans. So 600 grafts in total plus relocated grafts.
  3. Sorry guys I was away. Personal issues. you’re right, the stitches were used to push the skin together. He didn’t cut my skin. Next month, we will add hair on the edges just to perfect the hairline. 200 grafts
  4. Yours seem to be an easy fix. You won’t have to extra no more grafts. Quick question thought, how many grafts were used for your HT (all HTs combined).
  5. Lol I know you guys already told me to stop thinking about hair but I can’t help it. Overall Dr Mwamba has done a good job, I will need to cover those areas next. This will take about 1k graft for full density?
  6. Thank you bro. I needed those words. Lol I’m in the house going to the mirror every second. But I understand it’s a process, if I ever decide to do something it would be some minor work. The hardest part is already taken care of, the rest should be easy. I’ll definitely wait and see.
  7. Yea bro I’m trying hard not to think about it lol I thought removing the implant would have given me peace of mind. It’s definitely too early, but Now I’m just thinking I should have just added more density instead of removing since I have a lot of donor grafts. the repair is already looking good. I’m thinking about the next move to make here. You think I’m fine the way it is, or I can some work
  8. I see. So u also repaired the donor area. Lol I was afraid of being overharvested that’s why I didn’t fill in the gap. But I will certainly go back and add more
  9. Wow and your donor area looks fine, you can grow it out of you want to? I guess I’m fine then lol only used 2k all combined so far. Willing to sacrifice another 1k
  10. It’s too early to tell anyways. It will probably look completely different in 6 months. so far, I’ve only used about 2k grafts. I believe I still got more donor hair to use. Maybe another 1k grafts or less will fill it in.
  11. I wasn’t planning doing any work later, but if I end up not liking it then I will have to. how long do people usually wait before implanting hair. yea I’m using the Gel. You think the scars will completely disappear?
  12. One week post removal. I’m having mix feelings. I should have just filled the gap instead of removing. lol I don’t like the look you guys think the hairline scars will somehow disappear in the fiture? since I have more donor hair, it’s possible to still fix hairline later when it heals ?
  13. The middle scalp is fine. Lol maybe Because I didn’t wash my head in the past days it looks weird. No work was done there - we basically pushed the hairline back closer to my real hair. He also fixed the angles of previous HT thank you bro for the well wishes. Hopefully this goes well 🙏
  14. 1. He removed 150 grafts from the hairline and reconstructed it, also fixed the angles of the previous HT. 400 grafts were taken from my donor area to add density. 2. Yes he gave me Recedo Topical Gel, I start using this tomorrow. and last, I don’t think SMP is an option right now, I have curly hair which can get long depends how I style it. The problem was my hairline my hairline.
  15. I’m still waiting for the photos taken by Dr Mwamba pre HT and after HT. In the meantime, we removed the stitches yesterday and took some pictures. first 2 pictures - with stitches last 2 pictures - after removal. HT date: Sunday July 17th
  16. Yes they had to removed old grafts and place them correctly. We took a few breaks. They take their time when it comes to implanting the graft, they are very careful with the angles
  17. Sorry I couldn’t post yesterday, as some of you may know, I had a bad transplant and was looking for a doctor to repair it. I decided to go with dr Mwamba after consultation. the surgery took all day. Got there at 8:30 am and finished around 10 pm in new jersey. Got to go back there in 2-3 days to remove the stitches. Head was swollen yesterday and I’m currently waiting for the pictures (will post pictures and more details as soon as I get them, by Tomorrow Tuesday). Will post the pictures pre HT and after. Overall, I had a very good experience, Dr Mwamba worked on my surgery and his assistant lady was helping him. Seem to be very knowledgeable about HT. I am very happy with my choice, I hope this yield great growth (prayers). also we didn’t “repair” my donor area. This area is growing hair now so I guess it wasn’t overharvested. In comparison to my first HT experience, there no comparison! Dr Mwamba is a professional.
  18. Well written and encouraging. My surgery with Dr Mwamba is in 2 weeks, I truly can’t wait. 2 years of isolation and depression, This has been the toughest time of my life so I can only imagine how you were able to live with this for 4 years. congrats bro. Good luck on your journey!
  19. Indeed Dr Mwamba is very skillful, the problem I am very paranoid and have ptsd from my previous HT. I am nervous surgery date is approaching. I’m mainly focusing on FUE removal so I’m guessing that should be an easy task for Dr Mwamba
