100 Percent agreed , Do Not go to Turkey for a repair procedure .

Shaving with number 3 or higher completely solves this issue for me . It actually helps blend and camouflage the donor .

2500-3000 if you want Good density 45+ Grafts per cm2

Do you have pre op pics ? And clear pic of the post transplant area .

Fascinating

These are most likely scabs not the graft itself I think you should be fine.

You don't have anything to worry about .

Seems like shock loss , you just had the operation done about a month ago . I would relax and give it until months 6 . It is extremely likely that you have recovered a significant amount until the 6th month mark . Healing takes time .

Some people are late growers , I would give it a couple more months until the 8th month mark .

Let some time pass and reassess at the 6 months mark . Sometime scalp is shocked and needs some time for healing before things come back to baseline . I think you will fine in some months .

I had my HT done on January 13, 2020 with my brother in Istanbul, Turkey by Dr. Ziya Yavuz. I was told I got 3900 grafts transplanted. Overall, I don't regret doing the procedure, but I'd be lying if I said I weren't a bit disappointed. I have a lot of double grafts in my hairline and no one seems to notice, but I do. I'm also not a huge fan of the hairline, but it's better than the receded one I had.
What's most upsetting for me is the lack of thickness on the top and in the back. The top looks as if he didn't even put any grafts there. I take finasteride 1mg 3x a week and have been taking it since not too long after my HT. I'm currently looking into having another HT done, preferably here in the USA.
Mind you, my hair is cut kind of short right now and it looks a little better when I grow it out.
Do you have any pre-op pictures ?

I’m a little confused by a consultation I had today so was hoping I could get some advice.
A bit of background, I had my first HT last year with Dr Yaman in Istanbul. The results were ok but I still need work around the crown and refinement at the front.
I had a consultation with the Hairdr UK last year wher they quoted me £6000 for 2000 grafts (£3 per graft). I wasn’t able to do this last year so but have decided the time is now right.
During my consultation last year I provided pics and had a long voice call with the practice manager.
This time round the manager called me via video. Very briefly looked at my hair and told me I need 3,000 grafts at a price of £9000 via an email.
FYI, my hair doesn’t seem to have changed since my consultation last year. I understand that this time someone looked via video, but like I said, it was brief.
So, I replied asking if there was any movement on price as it’s a big increase from my original consultation. She replied saying that this price is a gesture of goodwill and that they usually charge £4 per graft for a repair case.
I was like, hold up, since when was this a repair case. I approached them for a second HT which is fairly normal. It was never called a repair case.
so here’s the thing. I don’t mind paying the higher amount if that’s what I need. It just feels a bit like she is using this £4 per graft repair price as a tacky sales technique.
it has slightly dampened my feelings about the clinic. If she had said our prices are already competitive and we can’t facilitate this that would be fine. But this seems off.
I have asked them to call me to talk about it tomo. If you guys have any thoughts on the meantime I’d love to hear them.
I m sorry but your choice clinic doesn't seem to be the best .
Much much more reputable clinics and Drs are out there . Try one of these ; Dr Frietas , Dr Mwabma , Dr Bisagna , Eugenix , Dr Pinto , Dr Ferreira .
Over pictures or video consultation are a vague estimate , you should have a proper in person consultation prior to the surgery .
Do it right and you will appreciate the value over the coming years .

Healing well . You are almost over the hump.

All seems good , let it heal and follow post care guidance by your surgeon/clinic . Post care is really underrated .
-
Prp is a waste of money . Done 8 sessions back in 2015-2016 . Zero results .
-
I recommend Belgium or Spain as well . Tricky pattern but can be managed very well in competent hands .

I agree , best to leave them alone .

I have only one word for you : EASILY
Your donor is strong and you will be just fine .

How do you sleep if you had the crown done ? And your crown goes with far back.
Do you sleep with a face pillow on your face ?
I got through sleeping after front and midscalp surgery OK . However, I am concerned when I ll have the crown done later because my crown is really low from the back and would be almost impossible to sleep the way I slept after my first surgery .

Stop it now, I stopped 4 years ago after only being on it for a month 0.25 MG 3 times per week . Most of the side effects reversed for me thankfully but on some days I have a bit of lingering cold feet and brainfog .

Are you willing to travel internationally ?
