  1. I would say meds are very important.

Just my personal experience but i was on Dutasteride and Oral Minoxidil before my HT and also following it and my hair was INCREDIBLE. I have stopped taking meds for 3 months and I can see really stark gaps and thinness again.

I was always told by Eugenix to just take 'multivitamins' and they weren't encouraging of oral minoxidil when I went there. Now when I have told them this by text message they have told me that I should always have been on Fin and Oral Min!

My fault I guess but hopefully if I get on it now again it'll come back...I hope...

At some point your hair will start getting into its natural shedding cycle, so if the hair you're shedding is definitely transplanted hair then it's probably that. I notice myself that I go through periods of seeing more hair in my hand in the shower and other periods where there's no apparent shedding.

Are you sure it's not native hair? Appreciate you're on Dut & Min but that doesn't guarantee you won't experience some or occasional hair loss/shedding.

Hey @Berba11 - I have no idea how to tell if it is native or transplanted as my hair is a lot thicker and so it's hard to tell. I think it is transplanted as it is in the areas that I was very thin anyway so the numbers of native hairs I had left was so small

  3. Hey @Stewie - looking amazing for 8 months!

I am also about 8 months from Eugenix and wondering have you noticed something that I have? If I run my hand through my hair especially when wet, I see at least 8-10 hairs each time. I'm on oral minoxidil and Dutasteride so I don't want to believe it's shedding and maybe I have so much more hair that this is normal but I can't help get a bit worried.

    Have you seen anything similar?

  4. 7 months update

Lot of people have commented that my hair has grown a lot and some probably know it's a transplant but a lot probably don't think that straight away.

I don't know how much grow is left. They say it is 70% but who knows. It looks good enough and even though it is thin in the light I don't think I'd ever go for a top-up now.

    Any feedback would be great!

  5. Hi guys thought I'd post an update

These photos are just over 5 months since I had my op. My hair is much thicker and looks solid from the front even though it is quite bare when you look at the top. Been getting so many compliments from people about my hair who don't even know I had an op and genuinely feel and look 6-7 years younger already!

Can still feel so many short hairs growing so am optimistic for the future!

Any feedback would be great 😃

  6. Hi everyone

Just a quick update at 4 months! It's definitely changed from the last month and it looks so much thicker from the front! I know the sides are a bit thin but I have faith that it'll come back. I am amazed by the donor which looks thick as ever and even feels it! Excited to see what comes in the next month!

Let me know what you think!

  7. Bro!!! I know the most important thing is how you feel about it but the front and back looks epic as does the right temple! What about the left side don't you like as I can't see it?

I coloured my hair for a wedding function last week and it makes it look like i've got a mop of hair on my head. I know it'll only last til next week but it's a massive boost to know what it could look like with more density!

Looking really good though for 5 months I think!

  8. Just to add that I can feel a lot of short hairs still that haven't come to life and where there were smooth patches before I can definitely see some hairs coming through now!

As rational as I am when looking at other people's pictures when I look at mine at the moment I do get a bit nervous and scared that it won't look as amazing as some people on here.

Also last thing to say is that I had 4,350 grafts - they initially calculated 5200 or so but they did less as they said I didn't need it though not sure about that.

    Maybe it wasn't enough :/

It's alright in favorable lighting like indoors or in evening but as soon as light falls on the hair or out day time in the sun, it is terrible.

    How about yourself?

I just saw your photo and I think it looks good for this amount of time!

I just posted my progress now as kept putting it off for months but I am at month 3 now so any words from you will be really appreciated!
