@Stewieย so true , but should we not take it to preserve the new transplanted hair ? Incase the dihitestosterone eats it up again ?

Again it depends on what your views are on that, if your hair is never going to change, ie your baldness not progress then there is no need, but then thats the problem in one fact in that I suppose none of us really know, but then also we dont really know if FIN is actually that effective from one person to the next, I think in most cases it would slow down the DHT progress, but its mad how some people respond so well and reverse hair loss sometimes

Part of me thinks should I start it again, and a big part thinks no, like I said after 2+ years I had no sides but no positives either

@Stewieย your a legend mate, rest up my friend... sorry didn't meant to bug you that quick after surgery hope all goes amazing .... yeah same I don't wanna take fin... ill just say I will also lol

hahaha its no problem at all, it just would not be the best pic atm as all the hair has been shaved to the bone and then just red from injections, extractions and implants :)ย should be fine in a few days I reckon

yeah meds are obviously a totally personal choice, I get no sides from them so I am lucky in that sense, but also saw no benefit so then it begs the question of whats the point? I think with FIN, if you have hair to save or maybe save, then maybe its a good investment in yourself on this journey ofย His, but for me the damage was done by 21/22 and it looked the same up until my first surgery a couple of years back, so really I don't see the point for me personally, but if your diffusing slowly etc then maybe there is hope to hang on to it for longer for sure, and who knows some people are super responders and grow hair back, that was my hope, but I think the baby hairs had forgot how to grow 26 years ago for me :Dย

@Stewiestill waiting for that buzz cut pic bro ๐Ÿ˜‰ ... hey were eugenix a bit reluctant to take you as a patient seeing you didn't want to take finasteride or anything ? I've got an appt with Dr Arika Bansal on friday

Literally just come out of surgery, ill get one in the next day or so when its not oozing haha, gonna get some sleep. As for meds they won't not take you because your not on meds, but they really do like you to take FIN for your hair, I just told them I do so it made it easier, maybe I might start again, but as my hair as been the same since about 21 and now I am 46 and my dads is still the same at 64, I kind of don't see the point :)ย

Ok cool. It looks like youโ€™re using witchcraft and wizardry to be honest! ๐Ÿ˜…

hahahaha, I am just trying to figure out what works for my hair, I have tried quite a few things I have seen recommended on the forum, that dry shampoo makes it feel amazing for a short while but then a few hours later super super dry, so not bad maybe for some extra volume for a night out haha

tbh I am just trying to put up with it atm and not really doing much apart from styling it with my fingers in the morning when waking up as knowing I am going back next week I am looking forward to seeing whats what with a shave and a reset and start again :)ย

Oh thanks @Stewieย yeah I've done alot of research on them I'm really impressed , I couldn't find a video on you tho mate , or I would have booked with them aloooong time ago if there was one with your results.

I am really against taking finasteride tho, I'm 37 nw5 maybe even 6 so it's stopped losing my hair anyway lol

I am not using Fin either, was on it for 2 years with no sides but also no benefits and just don't see the point in it unless you have hair to save :)ย as for top results I mean this site is full of amazing NW6/7 results from Eugenix amongst other clinics. I have seen a small video of myself on the Eugenix YT channel, it was right after the surgery last time so not covering progress and results, not sure if I flew under the radar with them in that sense, which tbh is up my street as I am not one for the lime light hahaha

What are you using/doing to get your hair styled like that mate? Looks class.

Thanks dude, I am not using a lot really, I was using that dry shampoo on and off but use it very sparingly if maybe I want to conceal the thinner bits a little and darken up the greys as it really drys the hair out and then tried the powders a lot of people on here use but found they either made my hair super greasy or very tacky, so the only thing I am using now and again is sea salt spray and to tell you the truth just not washing it a lot, I find regular washing drys it out also and it tends to feel better and more manageable a couple of days after washing it

  7. So itโ€™s been 12 months since last surgery. I fly out next week for what should be the very last HT I ever have. To say I am happy with where the Eugenix team have got me in this surgery is an understatement. From slick bald most of my life to having hair again is a weird feeling and I know how blessed I am to be in this position. Hopefully next week will be the icing on the cake to sort out the bits that give me OCD. But I am one happy guy for sure!!!

  8. Looks great, temples have definitely come in if you look at your pre op photos vs now, they are just lighter because of the thinner hairs used, and I agree with Ccd99 that above the ears looks a bit like retrograde alopecia that was there anyway, you have tons of hair left at the back if you ever wanted more density, and with that hair type you have got a great return on the amount of grafts! :)ย

    1. Other doctors plan procedure in 5 minutes, Zarev makes long consultation with specific measurements which lasts 2 hours. It's not like he recklessly expands the donor area. He looks at every areas and estimates grafts/cm2 in this areas and other details of the hair, then he decides how much he can extract from every area. It sounds simple, but it takes a lot of time.

100 patients equals 200 hours for the consultations and within this times random clinic can perfrom ~ 25 procedures.ย

    ย

    2. Expanding from traditional safe zone is what i call "New School of HT". There are more doctors that take this new approach. First examples that come to my mind are dr. Pittella or dr. Ferreira.ย

    Can't agree more
