Man, I've always thought kinky stuff was fun, I guess when it comes to hairs it isn't.

Did you lower your forelock area or just the temple area? Do you have any immediate post op pictures? Results look dense. Congrats.

There is a difference in that area. Its still a little thin, so i usually apply a little toppik midscalp to achieve a fuller look
I see. I think your doctor did an amazing job. Everything from the planning, graft use and result, i think it was outstanding.
Edit: The misangled hair is a big error by the surgeon though, sorry. Just because of that very basic error i take back what i said. Lol, without the misangled hair I'd say this is a 9.5 out of 10.

@Henry is anyone who meets you going to know that you've had a hair transplant (that's not a member of this forum)? No way! I think it's looks great and the hair line looks like a lots of guys that you would meet on the street. Remember the search for perfection is all very well. But to look for heaven means to live here in hell. 😉
Why is this tagged to me?

5700 grafts in one strip is freakin amazing.

I personally think this would be fine. I've seen this kind of pattern before where there's a noticeable gap between grafts and hair immediately post op and it still exists when everything grows out but, i never see people being too bothered by it.

Anybody here who was a norwood 3 or 4 before that can pull off a brushed up long hair style after an HT?

Thank you the detailed response. i cant believe that there are so many folks on this forum typing out detailed responses. (r/tresless wasnt this good in explaining stuff)
Understood that I am not a good candidate for HT and some/most of the loss can be reversed with Min/Fin/both in combination atleast. I could see a few hairs in my hand (about 4-5) when I comb after I apply the solution. Luckily, I am not seeing any/negligible amounts on my pillow after I wake up. How long into application might be the shedding phase?
Any recommendations for PRP? I am in Chicago, USALol tressless. You can literally post a photoshopped picture on that subreddit and put "5 months of fin, min, microneedling" and the members will consider you a God.

I wonder how this guy will feel when he is 70 years old with a negative norwood hairline! 😅
I wonder how he feels like a month from now when he realizes this looks stupid. I guarantee he will regret this decision within a year. This is almost as bad as balding really.

If you had an option to choose. What of these 2 patterns would you pick if you were to have an HT? I'm about to have my ht on march. I'm 31 on march, on propecia since last year august. I want to proceed with me choosing where those precious grafts would be placed.
I kind of want to just proceed and transplant that whole area for future proofing of hairloss progression. But of course, I would still listen to my doctors final decision if he decides it isn't safe to transplant in some areas.

Hard to judge the results with short hair, but if you’re not satisfied why not bring it up to Dr. Charles? He may be willing to give you a free touch-up. That’s the good thing about going to a good surgeon, they don’t leave you high and dry.
A good surgeon would actually implant 3300 grafts.

Dr Wong.
Would you mind posting a photo of your hair pre transplant with dr.wong so that maybe I'd have an idea on why he decided this pattern?

These are great results. Why have you not stated the name of your doctor?
True.

With all due respect I don’t notice a Difference much but if the patient is happy with the outcome that’s all that matters at the end of the day
Right? The first picture was actually the best, most dense looking picture in here. But... I guess he can grow those front hairs longer now.

Same but everyone with worse hair than me makes me feel better too
Thats evil.. I'm not quite at that level. Lol.. i feel bad for people with worse hair than me because i know what it feels like to lose hair.

Who decided this pattern to put the grafts on? You or Dr. Wong?
-
Since researching a lot about HT's, I just assume every older man (30s or 40s) with a perfectly nice hairline has had a hair transplant. Just to make myself better.

This'll look great, but here's some unsolicited opinion about your looks, I personally think the stubble looks better on you than the full beard look.

6 month update
Mixed feelings! The gratfs that were implanted have grown out okayish. Overall, there has been some improvement to my hair in terms of thickness and density.
Happy how beard and donor recovered it looks completely untouched! The way the surgeons and technicians extract is second to none!
Unhappy with planning stage, i was told the area behind hairline would be filled. This was over the phone/video and also in person on day of surgery. Lines were drawn and at no point was i told no hairs would be put there. See earlier pics for reference. You can clearly see now that area is sparse, with better planning and consultation i wouldve had a full head of hair now! At no stage was i told no hairs would be put in the area: if this was the case i wouldnt have had the transplant! Now i need to get that fixed, @Eugenix Hair Scienceshave told me to wait a couple of months but my question is, how will it get better when no grafts were put there?
It was after day 2 of surgery i realised they werent going to put any grafts, by then i was shattered and we were leaving for home the next day. They told me finnestaride will do the job - but i was quite bald there before so realistically better planning and consulatation would better my result.
Overall : unhappyplease share your view and opinions, thanks for reading.
So if what you're saying is true then Eugenix basically just lied to you huh? And some people here are just ignoring that fact and just saying "it's too early, wait for 12 months" like bro, they said they were going to put grafts in that area up until surgery day and they didn't, there weren't any grafts planted in his area of concern, what's he going to wait for?
They did a good job at the area where there were grafts transplanted but made a major error in forecasting results from your medications and a poor job at planning your HT altogether.

I think for some hairs especially minituirized or transplants have a specific length for them to look good and full.
