  1. I am just pointing out that its clinically proven that a drug with a comparable molecular weight is able to be absorbed to the depth of the follicle and androgen receptor with a 3-5 min exposure. Also we dont know if a 0.1% application left overnight will have more or less systemic absorption than a higher concentration of 0.5% with a 5 min exposure time. What' s more, It was the 0.5% dose that was demonstrated in the Avodart study to reduce serum dht by 90% Has it even been demonstrated how much serum dht suppresed at 0.1%, perhaps this dose will have comparable dht suppresion of finasteride? On a side note, with my first single application of a dutas tablet mixed with aloe for 3 mins led to significantly reduced scalp tension, proving to me that the tension of the scalp is the result of DHT and the sheer power of the drug. Its great that you have the bloodwork done, could you post the details of them as that kind information is very hard to come by. Cheers
  2. Exposure time is also a factor. The active component of Nizoral shampoo has a similar molecular weight as DUT and is able to exert its therapeutic activity on the follicle when applied for 3-5 minutes befor rinsing. I do not understand why we would want to keep Topical Dut on the scalp skin to absorb over extended periods of time given the entire point of apllying topically is to avoid systematic absorption. The Double A method put forward in 2005 which is topical Aloe and Dutasteride 0.5mg applied for 10 minutes. The author noted that he was able to rid himself of systemic effects by reducing exposure time to 3 minutes. I believe that taking breaks from this powerful drug, even topically is needed as well as limited exposure time, with application beyond once a week being unnecessary.
