Can hot showers damage grafts at 2 months post op? I took a very hot shower for a few mins and my scalp was redder than usual for a while after the shower.

so it seems like i would definitely have bleeding if i lost a graft post op day 7?

I had an FUE last Tuesday 2/1.
How secure are my grafts currently?
Would I notice blood at this point if I dislodged one?

Can I take a slightly hot bath 3 days after FUE? I will not get my head, neck, scalp etc. wet.

Mate... Come on.... Just use an umbrella for the 10 seconds you'll need to! You're overthinking this massively.
And it depends how much rain... Heavy rain will go through a surgical cap. A tiny amount of very light drizzle for 10 seconds will not.
What if the umbrella clamps down on my head

They’re vulnerable but i don't think they will be that bad. Just ask the clinic before you leave for their advice. I think you're being overly paranoid on it tbh.
Can rain get through a surgical cap
-
my concern is the grafts are extremely vulnerable for first 72 hours...so even light rain/snow will cause no damage?
-
This week I am having my FUE hair transplant. The day of and the next two days after my FUE it is expected to rain and snow.
The doctors office and my apartment don't have covered walkways (will only be about 10 seconds walk outside).
How do I navigate this to ensure no damage to grafts?

Having an active autoimmune process is not a good environment for surgery. Did the scabies spread to your scalp?
Call your clinic and ask. Don't hide anything from your doc.

Honestly, I have difficulties to understand what "TOP hairline" clinic means?
Highest density? Most aggressive design? Best macro design? Best micro design? Separation of multies and singles?
Especially the first three parameters depend heavily on you individual case and you cannot draw a conclusion from other cases and transfer this knowledge to your individual case. You have to speak to the clinic and let them create a hairline as a starting point of discussion.
Of course there are some general trends:
- Hattingen being more on the the conservative side with rounder edges - Turkish clinics often (not always) typically more aggressive with sharper edges...but what is better?
- Micro design is something to look at - as I think a great micro design gives you a more natural result especially when the density is subpar (can happen to any clinic) --> Freitas (even more Diep) would not be on the top of my list as there micro design is not what I (personally) expect from a top clinic
- Separation between multies and singles is just a "must" - all clinic who fail in that regards are not a top clinic anyway
Conclusion:
- There is not such thing as the "top hairline clinic" as every case is individual
- If the design of the surgeons does not match you expectations and density is subpar then you will be disappointed independent how much praise was given before
- Visit your favourite clinics and discuss your individual hairline with them - this is the only way to find out if from the top clinics one is your individual top hairline clinic --> In my case (which is very particular) this was Feriduni, but does this make him the hairline king above Lupanzula, Bisanga, Konior (the other clinics I consulted)? I do not think so.
Thanks for the response. I'm curious who you believe to be the top 3 for natural looking FUE hairlines?

It depends on what you prefer, for example I went to Diep, as you can see from the above statement, not everyone will be a fan. My suggestion is start looking up reviews. For me De Freitas is amazing, so is Bisanga, Konior, Shapiro, Gabel, etc. There are a lot of great surgeons. You just need to research.
Who's your top for natural looking FUE hairlines?

Will Local Anesthetic affect my hair transplant 2 months post op?

I received an FUE 2 months ago. I have an eyelid cyst I would get removed with local anesthetic and forceps. Will the local anesthetic affect the result of my transplant?
