I’m in turkey right now and it’s very hot here during the day, I went out today for some hours the first time since the hair transplant and sweated quite a bit because of the weather. Could this potentially cause damage to the grafts ? Or is it safe 15 days post op ?

The clinic told me to skip washing at day 11 and give it a rest. So tomorrow I will leave it like this I guess. But after that I will try it like you described, thank you!

I have these yellow flaky spots on the places I got hairs implanted. I try to be careful and gentle while washing as I don’t want to risk pulling the grafts and losing them. I fear that it might cause damage to the grafts and growth if I don’t get rid of them, is that correct ? Or is this just normal dandruff and I don’t have to worry ? my washing regime looks like this: I use conditioner for 40 minutes, then rinse it out with a water in a spray bottle and after that try to gently and carefully apply the shampoo on my scalp and then again rinse it out with the spray water. To make sure it gets cleaned properly I also rinse it with a cup of water at the end, again very carefully and slow. Do I have to change anything or is this all right ?

So if there was no blood at all the grafts did not get damaged and everything is all right ? This HT was very important to me and I’m very stressed about this situation, just hope is all right.

I hope so! Would be an absolute disaster if I did. Will definitely use much less of the lotion tomorrow and the remaining days and hope nothing bad will happen. What will happen btw if I did manage to damage the grafts by the washing today ? Will they fall out and not grow back anymore ?

This is what it looked like after the washing. As you can see the lotion wasn’t fully gone yet but it is by now. there was no blood and I didn’t noticed any grafts falling out. So is everything alright then ? Cause transplanted hair are very fragile the first days from what I’ve heard and I wonder if using this much water to wash them so early might be bad ?

To be more precise, It took me between 15-30 minutes to rinse off all the lotion, is it that bad to wash your hair after a HT for that long ?

Hello I signed up because I want to get an answer for this one. I washed my hair the first time since the HT on day 2. Before using the shampoo I used the lotion as I got recommended however I used too much of it and I needed lot of time to get rid of it. I washed it off with lukewarm water in a cup and tried to not put much pressure on it. My fear is that I might have damaged the new hairs by using way too much water is that possible ? It’s just 2 days after all Can something bad happen or is it all right ?
